Born Villain is the upcoming eighth full-length studio album by American metal band, Marilyn Manson. It is set to be jointly released on May 1, 2012 by Cooking Vinyl Records and Manson's own vanity label Hell, etc. Interviews with the band's frontman described that the record would be in a heavier tone than that of previous works, describing the sound as a "suicide death metal" style.

You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll is Twisted Sister's second full-length album. Therion is a Swedish symphonic metal band founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987. The word 'therion' comes from the Greek therion (θηρίον), meaning 'Beast,' i.e., that of the Christian Book of Revelation. However, the band's name is a homage to the Celtic Frost album To Mega Therion. Beginning as a death metal band, they later turned to combining orchestral elements with their metal music, employing heavy use of choirs and classical musicians, not only as additions to but also as integral parts of the composition. Therion is the first metal band with fully live orchestra featured. It is also the band which originated, popularised and influenced the symphonic metal genre, cited as 'the most adventurous metal band at present'. Because of these extents they take in conducting their music, they have been dubbed as 'Opera Metal'.

Under the Blade is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Twisted Sister, originally released on September 18, 1982. It featured a very brutal and rough sound which was eventually totally ignored on a remixed re-release by Atlantic Records in 1985. In 2011 the album was re-released again in a digital remastered form with the original mix finally restored. Under the Blade has sold over two million copies worldwide.

Flying Colors is an American supergroup composed of Mike Portnoy, Dave LaRue, Casey McPherson, Neal Morse and Steve Morse. Flying Colors convened for just nine days in early 2011, and composed and recorded this album during a short and intense session. Dave LaRue recalls, "It was quite an experience - the band moved at a fast pace, ideas flying around the room at all times. Sections of tunes were arranged, then re-arranged, ideas were tried every which way until we made them work, or, in some cases, discarded them altogether. Just keeping track of everything was a challenge!" McPherson adds, "This record is filled with trial and triumph. Raw and delicate songs alike amidst the swirling and daring orchestration of Steve, Neal, Mike and Dave. Agresiva is a Spanish heavy metal band born in Madrid during 2008. n March of 2012, Agresiva releases its first full-length work, named Eternal Foe, which is recorded and edited at Traste Cero Studio, mixed and mastered at Sonolab Studio and produced by the band itself.The artwork is developed by the artist Marcos Cabrera, who has worked before with numerous Spanish metal bands.After the release, the band turns into a four-piece act as Eduardo leaves the band due to personal issues, being M. Coello who takes care of the aggressive band´s riffs from that moment.
