It just doesn't get any better. I thought so in 1970 and I still think so today. Duane Allman and Dicky Betts are in rare form even for them and Greg Allman never sounded better. This album is as good as rock music gets. Nothing before and nothing after ever compared. The musicianship, the selection of tunes, the interpretation of those tunes. Nothing I can say will do justice. Listen and then listen again. Live music doesn't get any better. --R. J. Haynes

If you're not familiar with the name, pbthal is responsible for some of the best-sounding rips in the needledrop business. All his HQ vinyl is originally transferred at 24/192 but always issued at 16/44.1 (redbook).
I have more, including his newer releases not readily available.

OK , here it goes
I'm willing to pay mr.Pbthal for most of his current and future releases in original 192/24 format , plus covering all expenses involved.
I name no price , since I don't know if mr.Pbthal will even consider my proposition , or how much he values copying whats on his HDDs :-) ,but I'm talking up to 4 digits area here .
This is a dead serious proposition , I have no intention whatsoever of making a fool out of myself.
So if you're close to the guy , please forward my proposition and get back to me.
I don't want to post it over http://www.bootlegzone.com/ , not to ruin the overall enthusiastic aura there :)
And yes...can you please pass on a suggestion to pb — to please post decent covers — if not too much hassle? Thanks.
@GatsbyGirl
Many of us don't have memberships to demonoid, without them these links are useless. Besides, lots of people feel much safer downloading from RS here on Avaxhome instead of torrents. If you have access to pbthal's rips, post a few yourself. Or just continue gushing over doctor do-little's mediocre and amateurish rips..LOL!
PS: Oh, it's customary to thank the poster instead of just trolling about a few errors in his description, but I guess that's not the nature of a troll, is it? ;->
thanks to share this excellent ripped of this great classic album.
The nature of a troll? Wow. Real nice. I'm not a troll and I wasn't trolling. I just happened to notice—while browsing pbthal's torrent list today, exactly as I mentioned in my previous comment—that a few of the pbthal vinyl rips that vinylsplendor has posted here weren't the 192kHz remasters but the older, 24bit/96kHz>16bit/44.1kHz rips (which still sound fantastic!). Christ. Since it seemed vinylsplendor didn't know and lineage seems to be an important feature of posts here, I figured I'd leave a comment about it. Honestly, I was trying to be helpful and friendly. I guess you missed the ":)" at the end of my comment, though. I also figured vinylsplendor might be a member of Demonoid because he has all these wonderful pbthal rips to generously share here at Avax, which is why I posted the links for him to check out. *sigh*
I do, BTW, think it's very cool that vinylsplendor is taking the time to upload pbthal's vinyl rips for the audiophile community here. I appreciate his efforts and generosity. :)
Oh and LOL @ you trying to mock Dr. Robert and my enjoyment of his vinyl rips. HA! WTF was that about? *SMH* Weak sauce. I'll continue to do whatever I please. ;)
Don't let them stop you, I am downloading every one you can put up - no other vinyl transfers even come close.
CrewZ ;)
@Gatsygirl - thanks for pointing out the 3 pbthal albums I uploaded that were ripped at 24/96. I got lazy with my posting template and c&p the same ripping info every time. Sloppy I know, I'll be more vigilant in the future - though with the end products all Redbook, I don't know if it really matters. But thanks anyway...I'm glad you're enjoying these unique rips!
I've got four more already in the pipeline, but will let everyone catch-up before posting them. If anyone else is planning on posting their own pbthal rips - something I highly encourage - PM me to avoid duplicates.
