Crystal Tears - Generation X (2010)
EAC | WavPack (image+cue+log) - 349MB | Covers & Booklet Scans - 15MB | Multimedia Content - 238MB
Genre: Heavy/Power Metal | Country: Greece | Label: 7Hard (7H-033-2)

CRYSTAL TEARS is a Heavy Metal band hailing from Greece. They were formed in 1997, with their first official album released in 2006. Their new album, “Generation X”, is a positive step in the right direction. The music is fast and melodic, and full of positive energy. The song “Inner Spirit” contains a fast pace with a slight tempo change and a very good guitar solo. It is clear upon the first listening that CRYSTAL TEARS is a band full of professional musicians. Everything is done with laser sharp precision. “Nightmare Serenade” starts off with a killer riff by Dimitris Goutziamanis. It appears to me that he has paid close attention to maintaining a feeling of heaviness so no one is left with any doubt where he stands, and that is pure Heavy Metal!

An old critical cliché is that eponymous albums are statements of purpose, so what to make of Weezer and their third color-coded self-titled album? Well, the band proves that axiom true, as every one of these eponymous efforts functions as an act of introduction, from their 1994 Blue debut to their 2001 Green comeback to 2008's Red Album, where Rivers Cuomo turns many of the group's long-standing rules upside down...

Freddie Hubbard - One of a Kind (2009)
Video: NTSC, MPEG2 Video at 7.045 Kbps, 720 x 480 (1.333) at 29.970 fps | Audio: AC-3 2 channels at 192 Kbps, 48.0 KHz
Genre: Jazz, Jazz-Funk | Label: Arkadia DVD | Copy: Untouched | Runtime: 60 min. | 3,80 Gb (DVD-5)

One of the great jazz trumpeters of all time, Freddie Hubbard formed his sound out of the Clifford Brown/Lee Morgan tradition, and by the early '70s was immediately distinctive and the pacesetter in jazz. However, a string of blatantly commercial albums later in the decade damaged his reputation and, just when Hubbard, in the early '90s (with the deaths of Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis), seemed perfectly suited for the role of veteran master, his chops started causing him serious troubles.

Norman Granz Presents: Duke Ellington - At The Cote D'Azur & The Last Jam Session (2007)
Video: PAL, MPEG2 Video at 6.170 Kbps, 720 x 576 (1.333) at 25.000 fps | Audio: AC-3 6ch. at 448 Kbps, DTS at 1 510 Kbps, PCM 2ch. at 1 536 Kbps
Genre: Jazz, Swing | Label: Eagle Rock Ent | Copy: Untouched | Runtime: 180 min. | 5,28 + 7,26 Gb (2xDVD-9)
Subtitles: English, French, Spanish

This two-DVD set includes several rare films featuring Duke Ellington in several different settings. Disc one documents his first appearance in the French Riviera at the Côte d'Azur in July 1966, with the pianist making intermittent commentary via voice-over between some selections. While the leader is stuck with an obviously substandard piano (with a horrid muddy bass range) and an outdoor setup that is not conducive to getting ideal sound, Ellington, being an old pro, does his best to make do with the conditions.
