The Sex Pistols may have managed only one tour of the United States prior to the death of Sid Vicious in 1979, but you can't say it wasn't memorable; a ten-day trek through the South and the West in early 1978, the tour found the pioneering British punk band facing wildly confrontational American audiences, and this video preserves the tour's January tenth date in Dallas, TX. The band's nine-song set includes "Anarchy in the U.K.," "Holidays in the Sun," "Pretty Vacant," "Belsen Was a Gas," and "No Fun." The video also features two videos produced for British television for the songs "Anarchy in the U.K." and "God Save the Queen."
