Serge Douw - In Touch with Light (1992)
EAC Rip | FLAC (image+.cue+log) - 308 MB | MP3 CBR 320 kbps (LAME 3.93) - 149 MB | Covers includes
Genre: Electronic, Space Music | RAR 3% Rec. | Label: New World Company (NWCD 770)

Serg Douw was born in Australia and is an expert in laser technology, this album being the musical score to a laser light show which tracks the formation of life on Earth. Perhaps that explains the gushing blurb on the sleeve “monumentally moving music with percussive and inventive scores that captivate the essence of life on Earth”. Basically if you are “into” Jarre then you should find much to your liking on this album.

Nice - Here Come The Nice (The Immediate Anthology) (2000)
rock | 3cd | Eac Rip | Flac + Cue + Log | HQ covers
Sanctuary | 1450Mb

There have been so many reissues and recompilations of the music that the Nice did for Immediate Records that it's difficult even for people who worked on those reissues to tell some of them apart without a scorecard. However, this set stands out, not only for its comprehensive nature but also for its sound quality, which is exceptional.

Mozart - Serenades K361, K388 (Philippe Herreweghe) [2005 / 1997]
EAC Rip | FLAC, IMG+CUE, LOG | Covers | 1cd, 251.8 MB
Classical | Harmonia Mundi | HNX 2961570

This latest version of the so-called Gm-on Par/ito (the title isn't Mozart's) enters a very competitive field. These French players do not have a specially smooth ensemble blend (notably when the horns offer a brazen forte), but they are generally well tuned and individually they have a tight touch; there is some very attractive if rather understated solo work, from the first oboe and the first clarinet, and the trios of the minuets, for example, are often particularly happy. So is the variation movement, with much nicely placed detail. The Romon:e is romantically stow and decidedly heavy although the middle section is sprightly enough, with a deft bassoon (who is however slightly fluffy-toned in slower-moving music)...

Andy Summers - A Windham Hill Retrospective (1998) {Windham Hill}
EAC rip (secure mode) | FLAC+CUE+LOG -> 371 Mb | MP3 @320 -> 126 Mb
Full Artwork @ 300 dpi (png) -> 36 Mb | 5% repair rar
© 1998 Windham Hill Records / Evoke Music | 01934 11316 2
Rock / Jazz / Fusion / Guitar

Andy Summers played guitar with Police. Afterwards, he made three solo CDs for Private Music during 1989-1991. This retrospective features performances from each of the three. It sure isn't bad music. It does seem a little hard for Windham Hill, but then music doesn't need to be very hard to be hard for WH. Some of it is jazz, and the rest is pop instrumental.

Drakkar - When Lightning Strikes (2012)
EAC | FLAC (image+cue+log) - 411MB | Covers & Booklet Scans - 53MB
Genre: Epic Power Metal | Country: Italy | Label: My Kingdom Music (echo075)

The album in a musical context. Its 15 tracks long, with 9 ‘main’ songs, and the other 6 are either instrumentals or introductions to the subsequent track. And they’re all to a very high standard. The vocals and fretwork from both the guitar player and bass player are very impressive. The keyboards feature quite heavily throughout the album as well, but it doesn’t detract from the overall feel. This is definitely an album that needs to be appreciated as a whole if the full experience is to be had. Whilst the individual tracks are good as standalones, it really does work better when you read the story first, then listen to them all together. I think the only complaint I would have with this is it isn’t as clear as I’d have like it to be, the guitars sometimes sound a bit muddy.

KISS - Dynasty (1979) [1st CD pressing - Japan 1986]
FLAC+CUE+LOG or MP3 CBR 320 | Complete Scanwork | 262 or 90 MB
Casablanca / Polystar # P33C-20009 | The best sounding CD version

Despite a lot of Kiss' rips along the web, a true brilliant in the collection is the first japanese pressings. The P33C series - CD's from 1986, are stunning compared to the other versions out there. It has absolute different mastering than early WG, US or Canadian discs and their sound completely different to all other versions and have a real warmth about them. Any Kiss fan who considers themselves an audiophile and listens to CD's should have them.

Malo had previously played in several different bands while he was in high school, as did bassist Robert Reynolds (born Robert Earl Reynolds, April 30, 1962, Kansas City, MO).
