A Different Kind of Truth is the upcoming 12th studio album by American hard rock band Van Halen, scheduled for release on February 7, 2012 through Interscope Records. It is the band's first album of completely new material since 1998's Van Halen III, as well as the first since 1984's 1984 to feature David Lee Roth on lead vocals, and the first to feature Wolfgang Van Halen on bass guitar. It will also be Van Halen's first album on their new label Interscope Records.

This is a great collection of Doo Wop tunes from back in the day! 587 tracks total. Lots of rare tunes from lots of groups. If you like Doo Wop and you don't have this series, you will want these. As I once read on a Doo Wop site, "Rock and Roll may be here to stay but Doo Wop never left". This series consists of 20 volumes and it is long out of print.

"Irakere is Cuba's, and in my opinion, the world's greatest and most influential Afro-Cuban Jazz band ever. There is no better setting to hear this incredible group than a live setting. This CD was recorded live in 1991 at London's famed Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. Although many obviously feel that the original version of Irakere, which included Arturo Sandoval and Paquito D'Rivera along with Chucho Valdes, is the best incarnation of the group, there is no denying the incredible power and virtuoso musicianship of this incarnation of the group from the late 80's-early 90's which included Orlando "Maraca" Valle on flute, Miguel "Anga" Diaz on congas and percussion, Cesar Lopez on sax, and Juan Munguia on trumpet.

Despite a lot of Kiss' rips along the web, a true brilliant in the collection is the first japanese pressings. The P58C series - CDs from 1986, are stunning compared to the other versions out there. It has absolute different mastering than early WG, US or Canadian discs and their sound completely different to all other versions and have a real warmth about them. Any Kiss fan who considers themselves an audiophile and listens to CD's should have them.

Although unknown to the English-speaking market, Cuby & the Blizzards have been one of Holland's top blues bands since the mid-'60s. Bubu are an outstanding representative of Argentinian Progressive Rock. Anabelas consists of three long epic compositions, and features mostly instrumental music that sounds like a cross of early King Crimson, Magma and Anglagard. Bubu was quite a large band and actually with a wide range of talent and instrumentation. Along with the traditional rock set-up (guitar, bass, and drums), the band featured a violinist, flutist, saxophonist, and pianist. Each composition is filled with intense interaction between the musicians, dozens of melodic surprises, and unexpected tempo changes. Their music is complex, energetic, and diabolical in a King Crimson-ish sort of way.

Most people would preserve memories of a trip to Australia via photographs, slides or even a video.
