"Taming the Tiger" is the sixteenth studio album by Joni Mitchell, one of the most brave and pioneering female artists of the 20th century. Following the Grammy triumph of "Turbulent Indigo" by four years, "Taming the Tiger" finds Mitchell playing her guitar through a Roland V-guitar system, adding fresh texture to her continuing musical association with Wayne Shorter's sax and the rhythm section of Larry Klein and Brian Blade.
