The pianist's liner notes are also a trip as he cites the numerous sources for his music. Who would've thought that the gentle melodies of "Peace" were inspired by the soundtrack to TV's The Outer Limits? I still remember listening to this CD when a friend of mine gave it to me as a present. Windham Hills was practically an unknown label at the time and the New Age landscape was nowhere as big as it is now. But I was surprised how absorbing and tranquil the music was. I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that I now have all of George Winston CDs. :)
