Alessandro "Alex" Britti (Roma, 23 agosto 1968) è un cantautore e chitarrista italiano. L'album fu registrato dal vivo il 29 settembre 2007 negli studi di Mtv Italia e commercializzato il 1 febbraio 2008 in un cofanetto contenente il CD e il DVD dell'evento. È il secondo MTV Unplugged italiano della storia (il primo fu quello di Giorgia del 2005).

In the year 1980 Sven Dohrow and Ronny Schreinzer decided, after gaining musical experiences as a guitar-player or a drummer in various amatuer bands, that they will create their musical future together. The two men from Berlin were inspired especially by British bands like Tubeway Army, OMD and Depeche Mode. The name "The Twins" developes as a symbol of their work, which represents that they do the whole work togehter - from the idea up to the finished production. This means that "The Tiwns" are composer, arranger, producer and interpreter of their own songs. ...It took them nearly two years to finish this next album because they wanted to make the album as good as possible. The album was called "The Impossible Dream" and the song "Tonight" which was also featured on the album, made them hit the charts once again.

She was born in Hong Kong, and immigrated to Sydney, Australia with her family at the age of seven. Musically inclined from a young age, she learned to play the piano at age five and later she also learned the violin. Best known for its bittersweet hit single "Shattered Dreams," Turn Back the Clock is actually a well-crafted LP. On "Shattered Dreams," vocalist Clark Datchler sings of a breakup over a finger-snapping, synthesized groove. The success of the song is no mystery; it is unbelievably catchy. However, there are actually better ones on the album. The sentimental lyrics and shimmering keyboards of the title track express heartfelt feelings of nostalgia.
