Snow Patrols latest release, Up To Now, is a greatest hits compilation from their first 15 years, covering five studio albums. Including some of their best-loved songs, such as Chasing Cars, Set Down Your Glass, Run, and You Could Be Happy, Up To Now is a 30 track double album. The release includes their singles, rare releases, album tracks, cover songs, and even a few new songs. They also include some original songs by the Reindeer Section, an indie Scottish super group, coordinated by the front man for Snow Patrol, Gary Lightbody. Reindeer Section features members of Scotlands guitar heroes like Belle and Sebastian, Idlewild and Teenage Fanclub, to name just a few. 2009 two CD collection from the Scottish/Irish Pop rockers. Snow Patrol are one of the biggest and boldest bands of the past decade. Over 15 years and five studio albums, the part Irish, part Scottish five piece have sketched heart-bruised ballads and arm-around-your-best-mate festival anthems, radio hits and moments of painful introspection. All of these have been gathered together for Up To Now, a 30 track, double album of singles, cover versions, rarities, album tracks and a handful of new songs. From their formation in Scotland in 1994, the band's hard-earned rise has seen them become one of the world's biggest bands, culminating in them selling over 10 million copies of their last three albums! Up To Now collects some of the finest moments from Snow Patrol's lengthy career. This warts and all compilation not only features some of the band's biggest hits including "Run" and "Chasing Cars" but delves back into their beginnings when the band were just a fledgling indie act signed to Jeepster Records. Tracks from their five studio albums as well as Gary Lightbody's side-project, the Scottish super group The Reindeer Section, sit amongst three brand new songs as well as live tracks, b-sides and their much sought after cover of Beyonce's "Crazy In Love".
