Hollie was born and bred in West London; in a household saturated by music not surprising given that her father is Sex Pistol, Paul Cook music was always around, and she quickly gravitated towards the records of Marc Bolan, David Bowie and The Cure. Pursuing professional acting, singing and modelling at a young age, Hollie soon teamed up with family friend and Slits singer Ari Up, who had persuaded her to contribute backing vocals to Slits EP 'Revenge of the Killer Slits', after which she would put her schooling on hold to join the band on a six week US tour. Hollie soon became an official Slit, her vocals, keyboards and composition 'Cry' all featuring on their next album. More collaborations followed: a duet with Jamie Ton his 'Chaka Demus' EP, with Ian Brown on 'The World Is Yours', and most significantly as featured vocalist on Prince Fatty's underground reggae hit 'Milk & Honey'. The single received airplay across BBC Radio 1, 6Music, XFM, Kiss and even ended upon Grey's Anatomy. Hollie is currently lending her skills to The Rotten Hill Gang, a fluid crew set up by Gary Stonadge from Big Audio Dynamite II, on tour with a reformed Big Audio Dynamite in April.
