"Queen's First E.P." (4 tracks; 14 min.) was originally released in the UK in June, 1977, as a stop-gap release while awaiting the release of a new album later that yer ("News of the World"). It contains one song each from Queen's 2nd through 5th albums (going in reverse chronological order): the sweet "Good Old Fashion Lover Boy" (from A Day at the Races), the excellent "Death on Two Legs (Dedicated to...)" (from A Night at the Races), the Roger Taylor-written and sung "Tenement Funster" (from Sheer Heart Attack), and the epic closer "White Queen (As It Begin)" (from Queen II). | ” |
