Wiki:

Idlewild South is the second album of The Allman Brothers Band, released in 1970.

Unlike the band's debut album, Idlewild South enjoyed some popular success as well as critical enthusiasm, mostly due to what Rolling Stone magazine called "briefer, tighter, less 'heavy' numbers" which were more radio-friendly. The two most prominent of these were "Midnight Rider" and "Revival", the latter of which, in conjunction with the instrumental "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" (which would become one of the Allmans' most famed concert numbers), foreshadowed the impact of Dickey Betts' songwriting ability upon the band.

The album was named after a ranch they frequently visited in Georgia, whose name in turn was originally a reference to New York City's Idlewild Airport.

"Midnight Rider" has been featured in soundtracks for The Devil's Rejects and Unbreakable. Gregg Allman also rerecorded the song for his solo album Laid Back.

Track listing

1. "Revival" (Dickey Betts) – 4:05
2. "Don't Keep Me Wonderin'" (Gregg Allman) – 3:31
3. "Midnight Rider" (Gregg Allman) – 2:59
4. "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" (Dickey Betts) – 6:56
5. "(I'm Your) Hoochie Coochie Man" (Willie Dixon) – 4:57
6. "Please Call Home" (Gregg Allman) – 4:02
7. "Leave My Blues at Home" (Gregg Allman) – 4:17

I don't care about mirrors, make em up! My first post, please point out if I'm missing something, I will gladly correct it!

Update!: Avax user Pacifica has kindly mirrored to rapidshare, so I'm just putting it up here so no one misses them.

Thanks Pacifica!

Thank you for sharing. Graet post!

Mediafire is absolutely great also. Among free download places, you can actually download many, many files at once. When tested with other d/ls, it allowed MORE the 12 files at once. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!

Yes Yes, Mediafire is almost as awesome as myself. As for spreading the word....we need a forum lol.

Nice post, AdmiralHalsey. Thnx.

I agree with Equalizer Mediafire lets you download several files at a time. Megaupload and Rapidshare will only let you do that if you are subscribed to their service.

I don't have a pay membership, so I despise rapid. I assume megaupload is the same way. Mediafire is free and lets people download all the files at once without waiting 2 hours in between. Obviously I'm gonna feel for people in my position, who have no paid membership, thats why I didn't up it to rapid. I stated in my post I would appreciate mirrors if someone wants to post em, you can remove the password [.rar it yourself after download] too if you want. 160 people downloaded it, I'm kinda shocked it hasn't happened yet. I'm not going to up it to rapid though, unless mediafire quits working, which it hasn't as of right now.

This is a great album and a great release, however, I can't get it onto disc. I tried download from both locations, with IE and FF. First unrar (no problem), then convert wv to wav (also smooth with wavpack). Problem is no software can recognize those particular wavs (MediaPlayer, Nero...), and software that works directly with wv also cannot help (Burrrn). Closest I got to something is when I append wavs as tracks in EAC, EAC can play them in its interface, bun when I want to burn them, it reports an error. It seems that every software see those wavs as huge files whic it cannot handle. Is it a problem from cuesplitting software. Can I put those wavs into one piece again?
What should I do? Thank you.

Do not downloading. The files are corrupted. You will never be able to burn this to cd!
