Santana-Amigos (1976)
DVD-A Only ISO + DTS CD | 96/24 4.0 LPCM | ISO 1 x 190,7 MB + 170 MB | DTS 4 x 100 MB
Genre: Rock | Label: Columbia PCQ 33576 | Source: SQ LP (software decoded)

This one is a very strange Quad mix. It was the only Santana Quad mix not to be released on Quad 8track.
Some claim it's a fake Quad mix, but I have pinpointed a few moments that there are guitars in the rears and keyboards in the front sharing the same frequencies, so the veredict is open.
As it is , I don't think they would have even bothered with a fake quad mix.
It features a song that I always liked as a kid and somehow I had NEVER heard on the radio or anywhere else until I bought this LP 2 years ago! "See the Light".
Even so, the sonics are spectacular and the wash of reverb in "Dance Sister Dance"is great!
As with all Santana releases, the percussion makes this a wonderful Surround experience.Brought to you in Separate files, in BOTH:Hi Resolution DVD-Audio (ONLY-no Dolby or DTS DVD);
and for those without DVD-A players, a DTS CD 44.1/16 version.

Since when did vinyl rips came to be known as DVD-Audio's? There's a world of the difference between the sound qualities of the two. Be honest and please remove the DVD-Audio tag from your post. Use "Vinyl rip" instead, like all others do.

Since when are you any authority to force your rules upon the rest of the world, isn't it a bitch to have an inferiority complex that you can only vent in the internet??
You obviously haven't heard my work which blows away a LOT of industry released DVDAs and SACDs.
And this DVD-Audio is what it is : a 96/24 vinyl rip decoded in Audition to extract the 4 channels. It even has a really f*ckin cool slideshow with the lyrics which only very few commercial DVD-As have.

And, as a matter of fact your rant is incorrectly stated.
You are trying to say that a vinyl rip can not be considered a REAL DVD Audio...welll, you have been busted: Tomita's "The Planets 2003" DVDA released by Columbia Japan was taken from a VINYL source WITHOUT even cleaning the pops...now , THAT'S sloppy

NOW Stop bitchin at me OK? You don't like what you see? LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I haven't had a DSL connection since August last year , so I can not upload (or basically download) anything big. This situation will remain until the bastards at the phone company decide to install a landline in my house., please accept my apologies, Empanadilla.
