I don't know this one but it is krautrock so I give it a try :-)
Reading the name eulenspygel I had to think about the name (Tijl Uilenspiegel) (Till Eulenspiegel)
Somehow they changed him into a little chicken. Strange cover picture...and thanks for the egss euhh... Kraut

edit: eulenspygel 2.. is there also a part 1 ? :-)

Yep, you got it - Till Eulenspiegel... But Spygel is more progressive...
Chicken ---> Spiegelei - a lot to play with.
They recorded various albums, even one in the Apple Studio, London ! (ausschuss, 1972)
And... they come from my Hometown. So as a kid I watched them a lot - and finally Detlev Nottrodt convinced me to change my "strat" dreams to Les Paul. I never regret it.
Too much said, the small kid in the front row now stopps comment...
