| “ | One of the more interesting bands of the 70's, Carmen's music could possibly be described as progressive flamenco rock - with a sound that was influenced by folk somewhat, but the delivery was much harder. Their sound is difficult to draw any comparisons to, because it IS so unique, but I suppose that a parallel could be drawn with Jethro Tull, Horslips, and other bands that fuse folk themes into the progressive rock idiom. Special double CD set which includes the original line ups last album: 1975's The Gypsies and an album which has occupied David for the past 10 years and is now released for the first time: Widescreen. | ” |
