The Chymes Of Freedom - Waiting For The Mystery Train (2008)

The Chymes of Freedom, from the Pacific Northwest, carry on the 1960's folk-rock sounds of The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, The Jefferson Airplane, Flying Burrito Brothers and more. The band sparkles electric, with a ringing 12-string Rickenbacker, beautiful melodies and lush harmonies. The songs are thought provoking poetic pieces of a Dylanesque style.

The CD, Waiting for the Mystery Train, grabs the listener takes them through America with The Chymes social and political songs; songs of loneliness, betrayal; of sad changes,and times gone. And songs of hope and faith.

Special guest guitarist, Jerry Miller, of Moby Grape is on five of the tracks. The Chymes of Freedom, Robert Dale, Cindy Dale, Dave Harkness, and Danny Millie, have tapped a deep root in American music and have come up with amazing results.
