Timothy Schmit - Timothy B (1987)

Timothy was born in California where he was first in a folk music group at 15. That group then evolved into a surf band called The Contenders which finally changed their name to The New Breed and finally Glad which recorded an album, 'Feelin' Glad' in 1968.

In 1970, Schmit joined Poco by replacing the founding member Randy Meisner as bassist. In early 1978, Schmit joined the Eagles during the Hotel California tour (once again replacing Meisner after he left) as bassist/vocalist. During all the ups and downs of the Eagles, Schmit continued to record solo albums. He also can be heard on many other (too numerous to list) hit albums along the way when he played bass for hire during studio sessions.
