DTS- Santana - Caravanserai - Repacked to burn correctly on Nero

Forgot to put instruction in a .txt file in the rar ... already had uploaded 2 parts, by the time I remembered.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unrar to a directory. Place blank CD in burner.

2. Open Nero Burning ROM, click "Make Audio CD".

3. Select all the .wav files from the rar.

4. Check box that says "No Pause Between Tracks"

That may the most important step....
If you don't do that, it will not play track 2.

5. Burn

Nero converts the DTS .wav files to DTS .cda files for the CD.

Place burned CD in DVD/CD player. DTS lights up on receiver (if you have it). Santana in 5.1 Surround...

They did more fooling around with the surround in this, than in the Eagles CD :)

By the way I have a bunch of original DVD DTS Music albums and DTS Audio CD's but I don't know how to prepare them to share; could you prepare a tutorial for this ?

Here ya go Smiles.

1. Download dBPowerAmp

2. Install, open sub menu in start menu, click on dMC Audio CD Input

3.Click Options

4. Change Mp3 Lame to Wave

5. Click settings.

6. Change settings in Compression Settings for "Wave"

a. Bits as Source
b. Freq as Source
c. Channels as Source

7. Rip to folder. - Specify an empty folder here.

8. Complete Artist name and Album name box.

9. Click "Rip".

10. Open winrar, go to folder of ripped wave files.
11. Right click. Choose select all.

12.Click add files to archive.
13. Name archive.

14. Go to bottom part of box see "Split to volumes, bytes"

15. Select 98,078k - ZIP-100

16. Google images for album cover ( Amazon has most of them)

17. Upload <100mb rar chunks to rapidshare.

18. Make new listing in avaxhome, so we can snag it.

Thanks Philbert for the long tutorial (LOL)

Did someone have experience problems in the DTS decoding when playing and listening tracks 01 to 05 ?

Philbert, this problem could be from the source or when you RAR the tracks 01 to 05 ?

In tracks 06 to 10, the surrounding DTS is superb!

How do you extract the DTS-WAV audio from a DVD-DTS Live concert ?

Did you have any Internet link(s) to download rip DTS-WAV Audio (Free to download) ?

Are you referring to a DVD - DTS- video?

If so, not sure you can rip the audio out of it.
Besides we all want the video anyway.

We have an "AC/DC" DTS Concert DVD Video, would love to have more DVD's like that.

Do you know how to make a copy of a protected DVD and then make an ISO of that file?

The AC/DC DVD is not in DTS, it's in Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound.

I have ripped it onto a directory and am making a rar file instead of an ISO so I can use maximum compression in the rar and then send it to rapidshare in less than 100mb chunks.

Its file is huge, and even with a fast PC is going to take an hour to rar it.

Probably take a few days to download it with rapidshares 1 hour limit back.

Thank god, you can rar in the background so I can get some work done.

that did not work... had 35 100mb rar files and it was only 30% done... would have taken a week to upload... screw that...

anyone have any suggestions besides bit torrent for such a large file.

Good work philbert can wait to finish this one, btw can you suggest where I can get the torrent of other dts title? A long time ago somebody tried to upload the Queen DTS but it's all in Russia and it looks like we also need to change the proxies too do you have that title also?
