"It may not be the best live album in the world, but it's certainly in the race for one, together with a couple dozen other notorious records - although as of now, it's been somewhat overshadowed by the even superior Fillmore East. However, if you can't locate that archive release or are upset with the price of the double CD, I'd strongly recommend any TYA novice to start here, especially because not only does this record stand as a 'great live' record, it also stands for a 'greatest hits live' record. Just look at the track listing!" (starling.rinet.ru review)

Thank you all for your support of my 1st post. I hope you will enjoy this classic TYA album. Due to time constraints the CD doesn't include "Hobbit" from the original vinyl release.
I have an old Sony reel-to-reel tape deck & some interesting bootlegs on tape that I'd like to share. However the old girl is running a bit slow. I can't adjust the machine as some tapes have been recorded at the slower pace. Can anyone suggest a programme for correcting the speed? I know it won't be CD quality & not up to Avax's high standards: but it must be worth a try.

About 5 month ago I had it on my turntable (the 2 vinyls, not CD) and enjoyed it as much as almost 30 years ago when I bought it. Great to have a digital version now, too.

It seems to me it would be better to try to fix your machine. :-) With wrong speed you have both wrong speed and wrong pitch. That's why I still hold on more than 1 of my old reel machines. A few quarter track machines (4.75, 9.5 and 19 cm/sec) and a half track reel (19 & 38 cm/sec) - nah, none of them for sale :-))
On the other hand, if you have much good material, it might be worth checking ebay or your local press to buy a "new" old one :-)
And now it's time for your 5 bottles (stars) - no clue why noone else did so far ...
Thank you for the stars; but I would have preferred the bottles - especially now I've heard they've perfected de-hydrated beer: all they've got to do now is digitise it & then we really will be able share that as well!! :-))
