With The Beatles is The Beatles' second UK album, recorded four months after the band's first album and released on 22 November 1963, the same day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, on Parlophone in mono (catalogue number PMC 1206) and stereo (PCS 3045). The album features eight original compositions (including the first by George Harrison) and six covers, mostly of Motown and R&B hits. Most of the songs from the album were released in the United States as Meet The Beatles! on 20 January 1964, and the remaining that were not, were released on their next U.S. album, The Beatles' Second Album.
The LP had advance orders of a half million and sold another half million by September 1965 — making it the second album to sell a million copies in the UK (the first being the South Pacific soundtrack). It stayed at the top of the charts for 21 weeks, displacing Please Please Me, so that the Beatles occupied the top spot for 51 consecutive weeks. It even reached number eleven in the "singles charts" (because at the time UK charts counted all records sold, regardless of format). In 2003, the album was ranked number 420 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

I also downed "Please". I also just burned an ADVD of your "With" and A-B'd it with the 2008 DESS 16bit rip. On (my) stereo, I like your copy of "With" better. Your copy sounds more "relaxed" to me. I have no idea why Dr. E never went 24/96 (at least I don't think he did)?
Anyway, the new CDs will be 16/44.1.
I look forward to your next share. Thank you.

I have made new FLAC's with Audacity and these FLAC's in new RAR archives are now linked above. So if you downloaded this album earlier grab the four new RAR's. The bad FLAC's will be average 25 MB in size. All the other albums posted are looking good, about 700 MB per LP. The old RAR set is NOT compatible with these new RAR's.
I guess, it's a hard Job for you!
Head up and through away!
So many screw ups in one day. I need to find some Help! I'll just have to limit myself to one post per day. Beethoven will be rolling on soon. The missing track is coming soon. Help! is on the way......
@EVERYONE
I thank you for all the appreciation you have given me and my collection. And a special thanks to those who have put up with my "glitches". I strive to provide and share this excellent Beatles Box Set Collection. I was heartbroken when I was forced to part with it. Hopefully that guy in Kansas City appreciates my Box.
Cheers to all !!
thank you four care and wonderful posts.
When I win the lottery I can always buy some other poor suckers Beatles Box Set. But, I am sure glad I have these vinyl rips. The sound is the most important thing to me. Playing these HQ rips gives me better sound than I usually heard in the 80's. I rarely played the actual vinyl, instead mostly playing reel to reel and cassette. Now I load 24/96 audio into iTunes. Patch the Mac into my living room stereo and blast the walls down.
Thank you!
Thank you Dr. Robert!!
