Zohreh Jooya - Djowhar e Eshqh (The Essence of Love)
Music of the Persian Mystics (2003, London)

Erudite Spiritual Persian Songs (with Rumi, Hafez and Saadi Poetry)
MP3 Lame Insane 320 kbs (RS 135 MB)

This album, composed by Madjid Derakhshani and sung by Zohreh Jooya, is based on poems of the Persian mystics Rumi, Hafiz and Saadi. It is a blend of classical Persian music with the sounds of today; an unconventional combination of Oriental and European instruments.

Zohreh Jooya, raised in the holy city of Mashad in Iran, received a classical music education at the Academy of Music, Vienna and then earned a masters degree in opera at the “Conservatoire of the City of Vienna”. She currently pursues a singing career in both Oriental and European cultures with opera performances throughout Austria, Germany, Denmark and Switzerland.

Madjid Derakhshani is considered one of the best tar players in Iran with the respectful title “Ostad”, meaning a master who can give the best performance on a classical instrument. His teacher on setar and tar was the legendary Mohamad Reza Lotfi. He has also recorded with the most famous Iranian singer Mohammadreza Shajarian. In addition to the poems by Hafiz, Saadi and Mowlana Rumi there is also one from Shafii Katkany - added as an example of modern Iranian poetry to set a counterpoint of modern reality to the old mystics.

An Extraordinary Musical Experience

I attended a concert of this group in Bonn/Germany last year. I got caught by Mrs Jooya's voice. Mr. Derakhshani composed a wonderful piece of art. Even hours after the concert the melodies did not leave my head. It was the most exiting concert of Persian music I have ever attended.---Amazon

Real art talks to your soul
When people are honest in their feelings, when they are masters in their art, when they meet together, only then comes a heavenly melody like this to life. I was shocked by listening to this CD, by realising that such a masterpiece can exists. Once I played it, I could not stop it any more. Though I can not understand Persian, but Zohreh Jooya with her voice,Madjid Derakhshani with his tar and voice, Marwan Abado with his oud,Amirabbas Zare with his daf,Stefan Hendrix and Reza Safaverdi with their cellos, Maghsoudloo with his ney, Klaus Gesing and Thomas Nawratil with their sax and tabla all this together with the mystical poems of Mowlana Rumi, Hafiz, Saadi and Shafii Katkany made me speachless
Thank you all.
I will sure one day attend your concerts!

I would like to make some comments on the disagreement that has become apparent these last day or so.

I agree on the fact that the more mirrors there are, the better por the downoader. Nevertheless, Something should be said on the uploaders behalf. The do need some sort of motivation to continue posting, and something should be done to secure them, for at least a period of time (maybe a week or so) some kind of exclusivity for their chosen server. That should feel as more fair treatment for their effort.
There is no need to be too picky about the mirrors, those that do not want to download from rapidshare won´t mind waiting a week if they are really interested in the download.
This measure should also contribute to encourage the publication of new materials on the bases of exclusive download site for a specific time.

Think about it. A healthy solution must comprise a win-win situation. In this global village, an agreement for their members must be sought if they are to survive and strive.

Greetings from Chile, South America

Thanks for the upload.

Kameeldoring, I think the impulse to share knowledge, art, wisdom, & tools is motive enough for most uploaders. Appealing to & protecting the self-interest of the few who are driven solely by baser principles is neither necessary nor desirable. I'd rather not see AvaxHome.ru fall into the clutches of those who would prefer that every file-sharing system become a file-trading system, as has happened with the majority of closed BitTorrent sites. Your proposal would have that effect.

Amigos, as an uploader, I must say that I agree with rhclayto: this is a pleasure for me to share with you what I find good to share.

But I also understand that other uploaders may have another kind of motivation. We have to listen to them.

Do you think that collecting RS points (10 euros per month) is a "sufficient" motivation or reward for the uploader? I hope we are worth more than that !

Personally, I would prefer that only members can have access to the publication page and links. Because theses last times, I feel that AvaxHome is like becoming a sort of Sel-Service where people take what they want and basta! Some of my files are downloaded more than hundered times but there is comment at the page!

No, I am not saying that every downloader must adress a "Thanx" to the uploader. I hope only there is more commuication between us. When a file is corrupted or you have a password problem, you come back and ask for it. That's ok. But when you got it, you can also leave a comment, a feeling, a new info, someting, even to say that you do not like the published material.

In other words, a share became really a share when it is mutual.

Thank you all for your comments.
