I have never seen a Muslim convert to Islam but I have seen thousands and thousands of the best educated people convert to Islam and they were not forced for it. Just ask yourself what is this force that idea that changes your very own country fellow or priest or scientist who was born and educated in your own country become so suddenly changed person. There could only be two answers either it is magic or it is a superior logic than you are aware of today. You wouldn't agree with the first notion, I believe. To put simply Islam has answers to all the Questions that Humanity has today. Many, from the Middle-East, don't understand that here in the West we don't have to shut up and take it when there is something we know is wrong. We don't have to live in fear of what others may do to us if we don't belief as they do. Recent events have shown that Islam is in fact a violence filled belief system. One just has to read the Qu'Ran's passages about infidels to see this. It even states that one can lie to the infidel in order to convert them, and if they are still unwilling that they have a right to kill them.

Islam is not a work of a man. Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was not the founder of Islam he preached the same religion which was preached by Abraham and Jesus (P.B.U.H). Secondly, most of Christianity was adulterated by popes and priests so you cannot apply your knowledge of Christianity over Islam you need to know more about Islam and its arguments towards secularism and science and then judge. Just because you can name some general concepts of theology does not mean that you have understood the logic behind every religion. To know it you have to actually adopt it and then see for yourself if you really like it. I have remained a Hindu, a Cristian and a Buddhist each for at least two years after which I found Islam as the perfect and scientific of all religions. By the way, Quran told us the earth is round about 1400 years ago, you are a kind of backward to know it so late by science.

you are making false claims about Islam. The killing of Infidels verse is out of context.Muslims were prohibited to fight any war against the non-Muslims of Makkah. Non-Muslims made a treaty with Muslims which they broke and killed many Muslims after which this verse was reveled only for that specific time until Makkah was conquered even that one without a single quarrel. This was the most peaceful conquer in the history of conquer.

People like you whose believe is strong in there own religion are more able to understand Islam when they know about it. Do you know that most of the people who have converted to Islam were Christiane Priests or very religious man. We believe that every Prophet will be savior of his people but only for his own time period. After which a new prophet comes and the people have to follow him because the teachings of the previous one have been adulterated by the people. Like Jesus came after Moses. The prophethood ended with Prophet Muhammad who was the last and final prophet and God has promised in the Quran that not a single word will be chaged in this book.

But do not engage in combat with them at the sacred mosque unless they engage you in combat there. But if they combat against you, kill them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. But if they cease, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And combat them on until there is no more terrorism or oppression and there prevail justice and faith in Allah. But if they cease, don't let there be hostility except to those who practice oppression.”

From this point on, the scope of jihad was broadened from being purely for defense against direct attack to being inclusive of resistance against those who suppress the faith and deny people the freedom to choose their religion for themselves. This came later, because it is legislated for the Muslims only when they are capable of doing so. In times of weakness, Muslims may only fight against direct attack.

As for the spread of Islam, this is supposed to take place peacefully by disseminating the Message with the written and spoken word. There is no place for the use of weapons to compel people to accept Islam. Weapons can only be drawn against those who persecute and oppress others and prevent them from following their own consciences in matters of belief. The Muslims cannot just stand by while people are being denied the right to believe in Islam and their voices are being crushed.

Allah says in His Quran: “Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth has been made clear from error. Whoever rejects false worship and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that never breaks. And Allah hears and knows all things.” [Surah al-Baqarah: 256]

Allah also says in Quran: “If it had been your Lord’s will, all of the people on Earth would have believed. Would you then compel the people so to have them believe?” [Surah Yunus: 99]

And Allah says: “So if they dispute with you, say ‘I have submitted my whole self to Allah, and so have those who follow me.’ And say to the People of the Scripture and to the unlearned: ‘Do you also submit yourselves?’ If they do, then they are on right guidance. But if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message. And in Allah’s sight are all of His servants.” [Surah Al `Imran: 20]

I downloaded and installed this software.

It is unwieldy, bloated, and no where near as effiecient as the many university websites that offer acurrate comparitive translations in many languages for free, are of the highest scholarly standard and require no download or install.

Also, there is no unistaller for this software and no english help file.

3:147. All that they said was: "Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything We may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith." S P
