Back in June, when Apple boss Steve Jobs announced the platform change to the x86 architecture, some Apple-watchers could not believe their ears. Had Jobs not preached for years that Intel's architecture was much too slow? But Apple's slogan is not 'Think Different' for nothing. Its decision to support the x86 architecture lies in the unsatisfactory performance of the incumbent PowerPC processors -- particularly in the lucrative and growing notebook market, where the IBM/Motorola-designed PowerPC chips clearly lag behind Intel's CPUs.

Is it a Universal install or only for Intel Macs?

As it looks from file names (x86), I'd say it's for Intel. However, I don't know if this is hacked version that can be installed on any PC.

Yeah... I was asking myself the same question.
Is it for all Macs or just for the ones with Intel... and/or also for PC's?
Please give us some ints here without having to read all infos about it. I appprreciate the help.

Mac OSX 10.4 (Tiger) goes for all PCs
Mac OSX 10.4.6 is already for an "Intel" Mac

i just finished it, and tried the install just to see if it works.
i'm using an AMD 64 and the install just started well. I didn't finished it
because of space but it seems ok.
for the 7 part, after clicking Get Your File you have to wait a little bit more than usual but it works.

Part 7 is missing, I get this message from Oxyshare: "The file you are trying to download has been deleted. "

I also tried to wait a bit longer as endry said but it doesn't work 'cause the file was deleted.

Please Enotus, could you re-post the part 7?

I think this is getting old guys, this is for Both SSE2 and SSE3, but guys if you have SSE3 you better Download Version 10.4.8 from Demonoid.
PS: This OS was intended for Developers only, so if you are not familiar be careful not to lose your data.... and your time...
