Tnx
THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY THAT DOES NOT WORK
yes cause it does connect and get's the files
no: the proxy option went useles about 2 month ago
Rapid can recoginze proxies (don't know how but they do)
what happens is that once a working proxie has been found it will try to log on to Rapid... before Rapid thoght that U where another system (cause of the changed IP) and let you get arround the 1 h timelimit
now it let's you connect BUT as soon as you'll try to get the file rapid tells you that your IP is not from your computer...
maybe I used leaking proxies but since lots of people had the same prob and the creator of the Grabber stoped developing the Grabber I guess it's not leaking proxies but Rapid got to smart to fall for a proxie tric. My guess downloading this is a lost of time...
what I wonder is who is developing the new versions like 1.4.1 and now 1.4.2? Actually I don't trust it to much
The problem is - it uses proxys to get the link, and then tries to download with your ip address. Rapidshare saw this and made it so the link you get can only be downloaded on that proxy. The program can be configured to download thru the proxy. Most proxys are very slow and unreliable and this makes you more frustrated.
I highly suggest Universal Share Downloader http://www.dimonius.ru
The program is updated frequently, and downloads from Rapidshare and many other sites without you having to watch it. You can set the amount of time it waits to retry and walk away, go out, sleep... and it sits and downloads the files for you.
Your mileage may vary.
