BigPhone is a Google Voice client for your Mac. Easily send text messages and initiate phone calls with a quick keyboard shortcut. Get notified of unread messages, and reply to text messages. Access all of your Google Voice data, with a clean and intuitive interface.

Send Text Messages
* Quickly send text messages with a customizable keyboard shortcut.

Initiate Phone Calls
* Calls your phone of choice, then rings the person you are calling. THIS IS NOT VOIP: BigPhone does not allow you to make calls directly from your computer.

* Recipient field is auto-completed with your Google contacts.

Google Voice Data
* View a synchronized list of your five most recent messages.
* Access your inbox, starred, voicemails, texts, and trash lists.
* Archive and trash messages.
* Respond to text messages in a chat-like interface.
* Listen to transcribed voicemail messages.

Notifications
* New text message and voicemail notifications.
* Missed call notifications (enable placing missed calls to inbox in Google Voice settings).
* Displays growl messages for each unread message (only if Growl is installed: http://growl.info. Not required, but recommended).

Configurable
* BigPhone icon can be displayed in the dock, menu bar, or both.
* Customizable global shortcuts.
* Sounds and notification style can be configured in Growl preferences.
* Show number of unread recent messages in the menu bar.

Security
* Your password is securely stored in Keychain.
* All communication is done over SSL

Google Voice is required to use this application and is currently only avaialble in the United States. Please ensure your Google account is setup properly with Google Voice to use all of BigPhone's features.
