You’ll experience continuous progress and regular breakthroughs because our Adaptive Recall technology remembers language you find difficult initially and reintroduces it at optimal intervals during the course; helping you understand and retain language for use in the real world.

Instructions:

1. Burn or mount the Application ISO using one of the many ISO utilities.
2. Turn off all Anti Virus applications.
3. Install the Application
4. DO NOT let the application run at the end of the install.
5. Copy the Rosetta Stone v3.2 - Patch.exe to the install folder and run it
6. Click the PATCH button and exit the progam
7. Burn or mount one of the language ISO files
8. Run the Rosetta Stone Application
9. You might see an error at this point. Click OK and continue
10. The application will ask to install a language
11. It should search and find the language disk or mounted ISO
12. Continue for all languages and levels you want to install.

Would someone please be so kind as to help me out in this dilemma? Is the patching procedure the same for Windows Vista? I believe I did everything as written to the letter: used PowerISO to mount the application disk then installed, did NOT allow to run after installation, copied the patch to my C:\\Program Files\Rosetta Stone\ folder then ran the patch. However, it kept giving me the same error message "Cannot access needed file. Would you like to close the file and try again?"

I thought that maybe this was to run like this. I opened the program to install the language pack and everything appeared to go well. But once the language installation was complete, it asked me to enter the product key...

I would be most grateful if someone could offer some advice - I'm totally stumped! And thank you again for a most wonderful share!

I think your problem may be User Account Control (UAC). Search google for how to disable UAC in Vista and try running the patch again.
I personally am running XP so can't offer any further insight or testing with Vista.

Rosetta Stone ERROR 1117 (speech output error code):
Solution: Allow Rosetta Stone access via your firewall.

Rosetta Stone ERROR 2122 SOLUTION (database is too old):
Solution: Find and delete the file tracking.db3. To do this, you've got to allow the view of hidden files.
