The GForce M-Tron Pro virtual instrument is an incredible emulation of the classic Mellotron—the unique tape-playback keyboard used by such luminaries as The Beatles, Yes, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Moody Blues and Radiohead.
The 3.5GB sound library of the GForce M-Tron Pro features over 200 tape banks (sample sets) including 19 of the original GForce M-Tron tape banks, which have been remastered at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios.

Try this:
1- Unistall everything:
- Library/Audio/Plug ins/Components
- Library/Audio/Plug ins/VST
- Library/Audio/Plug ins/RTAS
- Library/Application Support/GForce/M-Tron

2- Install the App and Plug ins with the original installer

3- Open the Standalone and locate the Library (it will say you´ll have no sound until you enter SN....no matter, so leave the SN dialog empty and close)

4- Install the Dynamics version (don´t unistall anything!)

5- Reopen the Standalone app and use it...

It worked for me....just load any sound from the library, you should be able to do it

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, that didn't work for me.

I'm on Mac 10.4.11 INTEL.

After going thru the uninstall and reinstall I got the "M-Tron Pro will out put silence" dialog, then the app closed automatically and went through the "asking for serial" routine on reopen.

After installing the (k) over the top of the original the Stand Alone refused to open and when opened as either a VST, AU or RTAS it crashed.

Does anyone have a serial for this?

is it just me dumb or I can't find the serial nowhere.

I have pc, installed m-tron and copied library folder. When I'm opening application, it asks me for serial which I can't find. I found those 2 rar files in the folder "crack" but I don't know what should I do with them?

Please help!

Hi ! I 've installed M-Tron Pro and overwrited the dll in the exe folder and in the vstplugin folder . In standalone mode, it works just perfect. But when I try to open it as a plugin in Cubase 5 (32 bits) on PC, Cubase crashes. In fact Cubase can open the plugin window, but no font appears and everything's just blocked. Any idea why Cubase can't run it ? Thanks !

peperoni's instruction worked for me Mac 10.5.8. Tip: this is from the M-Tron manual:

VERY IMPORTANT: Once installation is complete you need to manually copy the folder called ‘M-Tron Pro Library’ to a suitable location. The library is very large in size (over 3.5GB) and you can copy it to an external hard drive if necessary. Once the folder has finished copying to your hard drive, launch M-Tron Pro via your host or the Standalone version. The first time you open M-Tron Pro you will be prompted to locate the M-Tron Pro Library folder.
