I don't think this is an AIR release. I haven't seen it on any of the dedicated music sites. If it works for you that's great, but I would have my doubts.

Well, I'm not sure this is an Air Release because there is no Nfo file.
But after half an hour of testing, it seems to work well with a few plugins loaded (grm tools & Sfx machine).

It keeps my Cubase Sx3 working.

If you have already some Vst Plugins in your machine, rename your vst plugins folder(C:\Program Files\Steinberg\vstplugins), before launching the program for the first time, in order to make a basic test.

no this not from TEAM AIR i see the logo in the installer but it is not from TEAM AIR .
VST-JUNK have this upload in vstclub.com and he self say this come not from TEAM AIR- logo fake but is a great job from how ever . VST-JUNK say TO me at this day he bring a new today out in the vstclub but no cracker infomation inside and the TEAM AIR logo is clean ..

TEAM AIR or not, yes ... great Job because this is the first release after SX2.3 who runs under W2K, i don`t trust my eyes after install.
Stable & no comment "this prog required wxp-sp3 / vista or higher"
All settings taken from my old SX2.3 incl. all plugs & it runs stable with lower cpu performance .... unbelievable .... the greatest Job ever ;-))))

Is there anybody who tested this with SX3 (H20) installed, to see if this version damages in any way SX3? In other words, can you run SX3 and 4 on the same computer without any problem (with the plugins or anything else)?

Halion doesn't work because the sample content is not included with this d'load (it's GB's of samples, so it would be pretty amazing if they'd managed to squeeze it in to a 90mb d'load,lol). You will have to try and get the sample content elsewhere.

This definitely is from Team Air, but was a DNB (do not distribute) release originally only meant for a few people to try, before they made an official release.

You should not install the 4.5.2 update , as it will almost certainly crash. This 4.1.3 version definitely works.

why they hack a 4 years old version without the update ?
why not the version 5 incl. update ?

i thought it's a steinberg promotion trick to bring the name back to the scene !

anyway, this version doesn't support directX plugins ?!
i think version 4 is not of big interest, because there are no major changes to version 3.
some new plugin versions ... no big update.
it doesn't make real sense to release version 4 and not version 5 !!!

looking at the Syncrosoft.dll its from AIR

maybe they really have an agreement with steinberg not to release recent versions ?!?

To be noted:

Reported working in Vista 32bit and Windows 7 32bit + 64bit & XP systems.

In w7 64bit it stores SYNSOAiR.dll in your SYSWOW directory instead of system 32.

Reported working with most VSTs and VSTi.

Can be installed on systems along side SX3/Nuendo 3 No problems.

The SYNSOAIR.DLL will work with Prophet V. - duplicate the SYNSOAIR.DLL, rename
it to SYNSOACC.DLL, drop it in the sys32 folder (for the plug) and in the Prophet
V folder (for the standalone).

You can not upgrade this to the current version of cubase!!!


Cubase Install:

1. Just run the setup!!
2. Run it and enjoy! if native plugins have no presets/or dont work goto step 3
3. Copy over the Cracked VST Plugins to Steinberg/Cubase 4 Vst plugins/

Cubase 5 skin Install:

1. Put in Cubase 4/Skins/ (rename your old skin first, so you have a backup)
2. Run Cubase 4!

The Croove Presets Install:

1. Go to Control Panel: Folders, select view, enable: show hidden files, folders,
or drives
2. Copy RAMPresets.xml to:

Sorry if the question is not proper...

My doubt is:

At very late there was a Cubase 4 (FULL PROGRAM) ISO running around with a note requesting teh software to be cracked.

So.. i was wonder if i install this Cubase 4 (FULL AND REAL) and right after install this Steinberg.Cubase.v4.1.3.853-Team.AiR over it.

Should i have it working with all stuffs, right??

hm, my cubase 3 (h2o) chrashed after installing c4 (xp32prof).but this c.4 runs very well with all my older projects. with low-cost soundcards is there a little problem with the audiochannels (steinberg asio driver) -> it works only the left OR the right channel, not both. after installing a free asio-x driver and saving the generel settings is all fine here.
