Another question. I see Lacostes has posted what is on the face of it the same thing except at 6.38GB is considerably larger - what is the difference and has anyone yet discovered if either of them work? I ask because I am on a relatively slow connection and it will take a while for me to download. MTIA for any reviews and/or comments. Kudos to Avaxklan as always.

Just the other day I was considering that if C4 was cracked and working, it would perhaps be a question of time before C5 would be, or at least Nuendo 4. And there they are! Amazing work indeed! I've crossed over to REAPER these days, but I'm certainly going to test these. Thx for posting them!

Thanks!! Just got 4 installed and still am flabbergasted how complicated Steinberg can make the simplest of things. I'm going to try this one, but surely it's not going to be my daily sequencer. Without the manual you're absolutely lost. You would think by now they would have found a way to make things more accessible.. Think again. Anyway, thanks for the share!!

indeed huge respect-

having a problem though... running old XP version, reformated recently so only other apps installed currently are Live 8 and FL 9... just been in the process of reinstalling and noticed this one- setup executed seemingly well, but every time i try to open Cubase 5 it blue screens me (crashing the OS completely). applied the dongle update from air, tried to figure it out but can't seem to... keeps crashing XP still- any suggestions/advice at all would be greatly appreciated- never could get any of the various C4 releases to run at all so was quite excited to check out 5 finally...

mine does crash too, each time i open it:
it says that the sincroemu LLC etc is not recognized, nor the fix works..

why is that? shall i disinstall previous hidden folders of cubase, i.e., sx or c4?!?

PS: by the way, didn't have any problem with wavelab 6.1 so i would expect the sincrosoft emulation to work with cubase 5 too, but it didn't. did anyone solve this problem and how?

Hello,
After doing much research online, I have discovered the crack is only for 32bit. First, I would like to confirm the crack will NOT work with the 64bit ver. of the app. I understand you can still install it on win7 64bit, but you can't install the 64 bit version of cubase 5.1.

I was looking forward to the 64bit version. However, I don't know if the 64bit version offers much benefit over the 32 bit version. Does anyone know?

64bit version can operate more than 2Gb of RAM, that's all.

32bit version of Cubase 5.1 works flawlessly under Win7 x64. Tested ;-)

nuendo 4 goes without any glitch, but this 1 just cant make it.
the dongle_Dll problem. i even uninstalled the old H2O dongle emulator, wont help... cuz all the old projects will crash...:(
After a few days, i think im just gonna pass on this 1. hoping there will be a re-up or sumtn. The dongle fix wont help either. it crashes all the time. i guess i'll stay on nuendo 4.

I dowload it, I install and I follow all instruction in cmd, when I finish he say me "now you must install dongle emulator" and after "click a key to continue", so I click a key on keyboard cmd closed and finish. What I must do? where I can find the dongle emulator? there is a file in the folder install "c5emu.exe" but when I double click on it, appear cmd for 2 seconds and after he closed....

I don't understand what i must do?

avaxklan this is the only questionable item I have installed in about 6 months is it just ridiculous co-incidence that immediately I had problems?

I am not reporting your post until I hear what others have to say, plus I don't like the idea of 'reporting' someone when at the end of the day we are trying to help each other.

Im so happy about your cubase 5.1...but I have a big problem with it...perhaps you can help me.
The program is working fine, except the audio effekts.For example..if i wanne make a pitch shifting with an audio file
and I'm using the mpex4 algorythm,the program immediately shut down..??? Please help..in this way i cannot work with it.

Michael Brown: maybe you have damaged file(s), check the MD5 CHECKSUM values in the list of links and compare those with the values of your files.

If isn't the same then you need to re-download those file(s)

i'll give u an example of the values of my files compared to those of the MD5 CHECKSUM

my downloads - 512DOMUSC5_www.AvaxHome.ru.part01.rar

is it a problem that i don't have all the other values after it says "part01.rar" ???

load your files to see the MD5 CHECKSUM values, then compare with the list

Michael Brown: if you want to burn it you can but you'll need a DVDR9

You can also mount the iso image with an app like PowerISO, MagicISO, or Daemon tools (search in google is freeware).

Or if you have Nero installed check if you have NeroImageDrive in your tools, and use it to mount the .iso, and install it from the virtual driver.

I give up........ i know how to use the hell out of the program, but installing it has been a complete headache, even with all of the great help that Avax has been giving me. i kinda need somebody to walk me through this from step A to Z.... i burned an ISO file onto a dvd that included all of the files that I downloaded off of this site, but when I open the DVD, all of the rar files r still there, unzipped..... just like how they were when i orginally downloaded them. please let me know what i need 2do, please please please.... thanx in advance

okey doke! I GIVE UP lol..... thanx for your help Avax, i know u tried ur best with me. I did everything, I downloaded all 21 zipped folders, I turned them into an ISO file, burned the image on to a dvd, put the dvd in my computer, and it still just brings me to a bunch of zipped folders. when i open the first one, it asks for the password, when i put in the "http://avaxhome.ws yada yada ya" it takes me to winrar, and when i try to extract the first folder that i find in there, it starts extracting and then it tells me " You need to have the following volume to extract C:\Users\Michael Brown\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$DI00.518\a-c511u.r00" ......... i've looked all over the place for that volume, but it's no where to be found..... like i said before, i'm GREAT when it comes to using Cubase, but i'm a novice when it comes to installing the crack that's been posted. Michael Brown: you turned the zipped files into an iso?, you don't need to do that, just unrar the iso...

right click over air-sc51.rar
select extract here in the popup menu

burn or mount the iso...

And here you have only that file, unzip and then put the rar in the same folder of the other rar volumes and unpack the iso.

yup, i did EXACTLY what u just said to do, but i can't get to the ISO.... i can SEE the ISO in winrar, but it won't let me extract it.... and extracting it is the only way that i can get it to the point where i can burn or mount it

Why you can extract?, select the .iso in the wondow of winrar and press the button Extract To

Or just right click over air-sc51.rar and select Extract Here in the popup menu

7zip says the iso is damaged and it won't unpack, but when I check the SFV with QucikSFV it says "All Files OK" :(
