Important

After you extract .rar parts you will get 'Komplete 8 ultimate.dmg' file, the size of which is approximately 300 Gb, this means you need at least 500 Gb of free space to install the library.
Pay attention to the fact that 'Komplete 8 ultimate.dmg' was taken from genuine hdd drive of NI Komplete 8 Ultimate, which means that after you install the library, you need to manually install patched applications for Mac and Pc (Massive, Kontakt, Reactor etc) so that they overwrite the original files to remove demo limitation.
Unlike the PC version, some patched Mac istallers are not the lastest version, e.g. patched 'Guitar Rig Pro 5' for mac still doesn't exist (this means you have to use Gutar Rig 4 instead), the latest patched version of Massive for Mac is 1.1.5 and so on - not anymore, thanks to ASSiGN mac installers are also updated! Though for mac these fixes may be required.
In order to install the library on Mac you need to mount 'Komplete 8 ultimate.dmg' (just click on it) then run .mpkg installer, after that install patched DYNAMiCS installers for mac to overwrite the original files. Do Not run Service Center.
In order to install the library on PC you need to do the following: since dmg is a proprietary MAC format you need to extract the content of 'Komplete 8 ultimate.dmg' to your _local_ hard drive, it's important not to use network path to the folder you're going to extract the files in. To succsessfully extract the files from .dmg image you need to use power iso application (available here). Install power iso, enter serial, press 'File->Open' select your 'Komplete 8 ultimate.dmg' file, then press 'extract->all files' extract the content to your local folder. Run Setup.exe and install the library (better to turn off windows UAC - User Account Control if you don't want to confirm numerous popup UAC windows during the instalaltion). When installation is completed manually install patched installers by ASSiGN. Do Not run Service Center.

Concerning PC - ASSiGN releases are up-to-date, so you practically get Komplete 8, as for mac some of the DYNAMiCS releases are not new, but their Kontakt.v5.0.1-DYNAMiCS should work with the libraries, I tried several on Hackingtosh and they worked.
That's why I combined the pieces together (it took me some time to figure out how to do that) and got 'Komplete 8 ultimate.dmg' which I tested on Win7 and Hackingtosh, you can see the screenshots. As for the cracks - I've explained the situation with them.
everything in here is the same as already posted by assign and Dynamics ! Except the libraries for kontakt 5 wich is 27gb and battery and machine full library, what is missing is guitar rig 5 for mac no KORE or Lib and a few others thats why alot of folks were saying its the old Komplete 7 piece toghether in wich there right, So either NI Scammed this new release or the Brother Jellies what ever his name is did..

Guitar rig 5 for MAC is there, but DYNAMiCS haven't released patched version of it on MAC, can be used as demo only. As for KORE, I didn't see it in the installation menu.
@txrx: I am using JDownloader (without a premium acc), but I must input the captchas manually (and wait).
I just began working on a solution (I knew about it, but NOW it's the time to use it). It's called captcha trader (http://www.captchatrader.com). First of all I am making credits for about 3 hours or so with THREE accounts at a time (on 3 IPs, using VNC remote control). When I have enough credits, I'll split the full list of 200+ RARs into 3 and leave the captchatrader plug-in either with JDownloader, MyPony or pyLoad --must try first-- 24/7 ON ITS OWN in all 3 IPs at the same time... :)))

Im using DownThemAll and I was getting same speeds as you earlier. 11.25 EST - I'm up to 500kbps. I'm pretty sure that I'll get better speeds from around 2am up to around 6am in the morning.
Another Mirror would be great, to take a little stress off the filepost site.
With a little calculation - this will take 7-8 days. (since daytime have horrific dl speeds).

1) Max Connections per File [down on the right] = how many parts is a file divided into, so they download ALL at the same time. This is only valid when using premium accounts or protocols that support resume, like direct http.
2) Max Downloads [down on the right] = the maximum number of TOTAL downloads, no matter from which server of hoster. My recommendation is to start with, say, 4, and increse the number progressively (using files from different hosters at a time if you don't have premiums) until you reach the max of your connection, and after increase the number by about 2 or 3.
3) Speed Limit [down on the right] = Always keep it at 0 (=no limit or maximum), unless you also need some room for torrents, video streaming from youtube, another computer in your LAN, etc
4) Number of simultaneous downloads per host [Settings tab, Downloads & Connections, Download Control section] = Sets how many files will download at the same time FROM EACH hoster or server, ONLY for premium accounts and hosters and servers which allow it WITHOUT premium (like MediaFire, youtube, direct http, etc). But if it's a hoster wish SELLS premiums, this setting doen not apply.
Hope this was clarifying. In short, change the value in 1) to a higher number...
BTW: I tried the captcha trader plug-in for JDownloader (after adding filepost.com and depositfiles.com to the plug-in manually) and it works well for the hosters it originally had impolemented but NOT for these two new that i added -- and YES, I added them properly). Now about to try with MiPony... More news soon...

Okay - Just an update from here. I did raise the number of "max downloads per server" and I am now downloading with 1MB/s (1 megabyte per second) from FilePost. Not bad. This is 3pm EST. Not bad at all. Sorry for not fixing that earlier.
Sometimes I get spikes, eg. 1 file that downloads with 1MB alone, while other files typically dl's around 100KB/S.

@ALL: the combination Mipony+CaptchaTrader works like a charm WITHOUT premium and gets all files unattendedly 24/7 (that is, for instance, when I'm sleeping). Believe me: this is a killer. I'm using this combitation now in 2 diffentet IPs (with 2 different CaptchaTrader accounts). Now I'm going for the 3rd account on a 3rd IP :)
TIP: When you register your 2nd or 3rd CaptchaTrader account, use your 1st acount's login name as referer, so for EACH captcha you solve manually in the 2nd or 3rd account ("Earn Credits" in the website), you'll get one extra credit (+10%) added to the 1st one. That is: make yourself the referer to yourself (using different accounts and e-mails, of course, you get it...)

Trying to download but some parts in Jdownloader just says "temporarily unavailable" and trying to download them through Safari just gives me "Failed to open page".
Firefox also having trouble.
It's been like this for me since it was uploaded.
Parts001 - 015 and 041 - 050. The other parts up to 056 have downloaded succesfully so far.
Anyone have any thoughts on what I can try to solve this issue?

JDownloader can't download anymore even i didn't change my premium setting.
my status is "premium user", expire date is "29.feb", traffic left "unlimited"... everithing looks fine, but Jdownloader can't make premium user conection.
instead shows me window with 2 words for free users?!

I was 30 minutes trying to understand why jdownloader was not working,
worse thing is that you can still download as a free account, with cpacha and so.... (Ohh these MF...)
But when you buy a premium it says :"Download capacity UNLIMITED" so there is some stealing here, no?
We should all complain to the support service and post this every where.

I imagine my face, if after 2 hours extracting I got a crc error on file 190 !!! :O

Installation take over about an hour plus :) once you got it running its really admazing, i like the library really a whole lot of stuff in there.
now going to try it on pro tools and flstudio.
You can check crc of rar parts in Total Commander, to do that create a file test.sfv in the same folder, copy the content which is under 'crc checksum' into that file, then select that file in Total Commander go to 'File -> Verify Checksums'

In this very same post, you may find a dropdown called "crc checksums":
1) Copy/paste the CRCs to a new TXT file in your hard disk
2) Download and install the FREE program QuickSFV
3) Right-click on one downloaded RAR part (or select SEVERAL of them and right-click on them all at a time) and select "Create .SFV File". A .SFV file containg the CRC32 value(-s) will be created.
4) Right-click on the .SFV file and "Open with" Windows NotePad (or another editor in TXT/ASCII mode, like NotePad++ or UltraEdit).
5) With the SFV file alteady open as text, open the OTHER TXT file you made where you pasted the CRC checksums from this post.
6) Compare values in both files. if they match, the it's OK. If one or severl afiles don't match you MUST do redownloads
Hope this was useful. For any doubts, just ask; I'll be cheking this post often (waiting for the mirror; I'm still at 15% of the total...)
1. I downloaded CheckSum+ - Free Program
2. Open Files, select all your downloaded files and create a shecksum file (The CSV one)
3. This will take a while. While it calculates the CRC, make a cup of coffee and...
4. copy the CRC info from this page (here on AvaxHome) into an empty document (I used Textmate)
5. Save document as txt or whatever you like.
6. Open Google DOCS or EXCEL sheet.
7. Import the Generated CSV file from CheckSum+ (remember to separate the checksum number from the name of the files)
8. Import the saved file with CRC codes from this page. (Again remember to separate number from the file names, in a different column)
9. In a new column, write: =EXACT(C1,B1)
10. Drag the corner of that field down so that all the next fields are checked as well.
11. The output of the excel will be either TRUE or FALSE... so no need to check the numbers manually.

An easier method (just tried):
1) Open an ASCII editor like NotePad (or Word, but, at the end, save as ASCII or plain text)
2) Paste the text from the pulldown "CRC checksum" in this spost
3) Save the file (as ASCII or plain text)
4) Rename the saved file to "_CRC32_.sfv" (be sure your Windows *shows* the file extensions!!!)
5) With QuickSFV installed, select all files of the RAR set and click on "Verify individual files".
6) The files will be verified, one by one
Take into account that you must check yourself you have ALL files from the fileset.
For MacOS, follow the steps detailed on a previous message above by ss123 :)

Btw. Just spend the night on a hackintosh - pretty decent DAW. I'm pretty impressed with the performance (and price off course), but it seems like my friend has some weird driver issues, eg. with the Virus TI not really working correctly. I run a Virus TI on my macbook and PC (win 7 with Nuendo) with no issues, so even though I am tempted by the hackintosh - I think the best way is to camp it out and wait for the next macbook pro (may 2012).
Now I got every thing extracted, I´m almost there.... oooh my good... i´m wet... hahaha...
Does anybody have a clue how to fix this? Is this bug related to the fact that I did not install the program on my system disc?
I have a question to ask...

That's ok DMG file is a hdd partiton image the complete size of which is 320Gb, but its content is less than 320Gb.

After you have all 190 files in one folder you need to unpack them using winrar, then if you are a PC user u need to extract the content of the dmg file with powerIso.

Do you try to load the patches from 'Library' tab or from 'Files' tab in Kontakt player?

Sadly, you learnt it the bad way; the number one rule is "don't never ever delete the intermediate steps , like downloaded RARs or whichever one, until you are absolutely sure everything works ok". And, in my case, I even keep the ORIGINALS I got from the net (to which I add a SFV/CRC file if there isn't one) in compressed form, so I know about any possible errors when decompressing. Then, alternatively, I ALSO have a ready-to-install copy (plus SFV/CRC for it) in the most used ones that I may reinstall in a future in any of my several PCs. But i NEVER delete the downloaded originals, no matter the size (including the BIG ones, like all Komplete editions or Mixosaurus with its 123Gb).
YES, this takes LOTS of Terabytes... the only downside.
[Ohh... and I ALWAYS ALWAYS use TeraCopy to copy/move files around WITH THE VERIFY OPTION enabled!!! - This has saved my from badly copied files in a very few rare cases. But I don't want even ONE error...]

Funk Guitarist was not automaticaly installed, I had to add it manually to kontakt.
Scarbee MM-Bass and Scarbee Funk Guitarist setupPC.exe have been detected as containing the TrojWare.Win32.TrojanDownloader.Swizzor.Gen@87251472 by Comodo antivirus while installing.
I scanned the folder where libraries are installed and no threat was found.
After I have done a test of all my libraries one by one this is the result:
I had the Cinesamples Voxos Epic Virtual Choirs library installed and working but now Kontakt is asking for an .nicnt file
that does not exist. (If any one know a solution for this... ) The individual intruments still works perfectly with all functions.
All other libraries i have works perfectly (and I have a lot) even the oldest ones for Kontakt 2.

This may easily be a false positive. NEVER take for granted what antiviruses say. The very best solution is checking, if in doubt, at www.virustotal.com, so you will know what 20+ antiviruses "say" about that file...
If still in doubt, install inside a VM (VMware/VirtualBox/ virtual machine) and test for a while and see what happens...
That's may be due to the fact that you had NI products installed/removed before Komplete 8, if to install on clean OS you should have all libraries added.

Filepost only registers the download once it has COMPLETED. So you can downloaded as much as you want as long as you STOP each file at before it completes, say about 95%. Now, just before midnight (when they reset the counter), you can resume all of your almost complete files (I have had up to 40 running at the same time). Even if one of the files takes you over the 25GB limit, the ones that are still running will continue (so be sure to start up another 10 while the others are completing, so you can continue leeching even after your limit sets in). At midnight, the counter resets and you can download without worry again until you are approaching the 25GB limit for the next day.. at which point you can start using the STOP before complete trick to keep leeching without it registering on filepost.

Well, I finished downloading all the files 1 week ago. The thing is big, so I was just waiting for a 2To HDD (that arrived today) to install it properly.
I work on Mac so, I opened up the .dmg. All the package files seem to be there. I start with the first one, choose the right HDD, and then begins the problem :
OSX installation tool is freezing when saying "less than 1mn left".
After that, impossible to stop it, even with the OSX "force to quit" tool. The only solution is to turn my computer off to start it again.
I didn't test all the packages when they all seem to run like that. BTW, softwares installations work fine. The problem is only with the big librairies one.
Any ideas girls and guys?

i just tried to install the Komplete 8 Ultimate installer (for Mac) file twice and both times i got this msg "Installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact software manufacturer for assistance"

2nd. I seem to have similar issue to @darnbni99a... I checked crc of each file but "installation failed" keeps happening ...Im using a Mac and used disk image mount utility.
The only thing I see is that every time I unrar with UnRarX I get a different CRC of the Large .dmg file. also tried unraring to 3 different drives. PLEASE HELP!

So I hope this helps others. I installed XP on a bootcamp partition on mac and used WINRAR to extract. For some reason UnRarX on OSX kept producing errors. Now its all good!!!

Well, I finally downloaded everything once again. But when mounting .dmg (I'm a hackintosh user) and trying to install the bundles through it, it was crashing :
my computer was buggin' in the very first steps of the installation : I wasn't able to choose the destination folder, installation was freezin', impossible for me to dismount the .dmg, I had to reboot...
For now, the only way I found to install the bundle properly was to copy the .mpkg on my desktop, and start the installation from there. And then, I had the destination folder and HDD choice.
@orientazure : (sorry Man, we request you so much! :-) ) What do you think about that? Maybe it is because I didn't understand the way of installing it properly?
Do we have to copy the whole content of the mounted .dmg on a HDD to install it, or would we be abled to install directly from the .dmg?

I installed directly from dmg on Hackintosh OS X lion didn't have any crashes, on Win7 I extracted entire content to the folder and installed from the folder, didn't have any errors either. Did you check crc of dmg image B53F92D0 ?

Awesome post! I've got everything installed neatly! One problem however, i was hoping someone here might now the answer. Ive installed all the Assign installs. But when i open kontakt, all of the libaries run in demo mode. anyone know how i can fix this?

No dude you are not. I've had the same issue all morning. Just managed to get a direct DL going by using FlashGot addon in FF. My advice is give it another go but if you're just starting to grab this thing don't get your hopes up. I think FP are getting wonky and it takes AGES to get all of this beast.

You need to install kontakt ASSiGN into the same folder where original Kontakt is, so that ASSiGN version rewrites all files of original Kontakt. Reinstall ASSiGN Kontakt again, pay attention to the folder paths.
I Have! everything else is working properly apart from the libaries within kontakt! I dont get why it wont work. since ive installed everything to the right path
Remove kontakt files manually (exe, dlls and so on) and install ASSiGN kontakt. Run setup as Administrator on Win.
i downloaded everything and it went fine. i used all the checksum files and everything seems fine there too. extracting works as well. but my dmg file seems to be damaged. it can't be mounted. it says "no mountable file systems". can somebody help me please? i am using mac osx lion.

I extracted the files from the .dmg file to my C:\ Drive.
I assume it's Local Installation path
Also, I read that official Ultimate is over 240GB but this one is 187. What is not in this Ultimate that is included in the official version?
Don't know if it runs on win XP, I installed it on win7.

This hdd image is taken from official 320Gb external hdd on which Ultimate is supplied. The size of the image after you extract is approximately 320Gb, the size of the content is less than 320, so it's around ~240. 187Gb is compressed size.

Can someone please help me out here with a work around.
Do you get "Please Insert Disk" message at once after you run "Komplete 8 Ultimate Setup PC.exe" or you get this message in the middle of installation process? Do you have enough free space? When each new component is being installed you get new info window such as "Installing Studio Drummer" "Installing Session String Pro", do you get such messages, or you just get "Please Insert Disk"? Does it require a certain disc letter or just Please Insert Disk and that's all? Maybe you should try to change the path to the folder where you have installation files if it's too long or has non latin symbols/letters in it? Try to move/rename to c:\tmp or d:\tmp, maybe this will help. Check once again whether you extracted all files from dmg image and none is missing.
I've confirmed this by selecting and trying to re-install ONLY the libraries.
It doesn't ask for a disc letter; only message that pops up is "Please Insert Disc".

1. extract all 190 .rars using winrar.
2. 1st .rar is .dmg so I extract it's contents using poweriso into same folder as contents of .rars 2-190.
3. replace installer files from .dmg with assign installers
4. run setup.exe
5. start making music!

For those of you B*tching about file hosts and all that crap, get a zevera account and call it a day. The money you pay for a one month premium with a single file host, could go towards a zevera account which is basically and literally a premium account for multiple hosts. If you're smart you'll do the math and comprehend what I just said. However I'll break it down even more: One zevera account means a premium account for almost any file host you run into. I can definitely tell you FILEPOST is one of the accounts that work with it and you can use jdownloader as a nice download manager. The only issue with a zevera account is after downloading about 60-70 gb you may have to pause for an hour or 2 so that the servers can reset your download quota. I'd say that's decent since you really don't have to wait long. Compare that to downloading one by one (free-users) or being stuck with a host that kills links. At least you'll have options! Think smart kids and stop complaining and find a solution!!
ONce again thanks uploaders you guys are awesome!! I got the DVD9 version I can get all the other instruments when I need to (which I've done before I stumbled upon this GEM)
K8U was up and working perfectly on my PC until today. At least that's when I first noticed slight problem which I would definitely like some feedback about.
I downloaded a bunch of torrents and stuff elsewhere. My computer gradually slowed down to where it would not even boot to the desktop in normal mode. Now, after 48 continuous hours of scanning and purging (17 potential malwares attached to torrented files) my PC is running as good as new with one noticeable exception. When I attempted to launch Kontakt it prompted me to Demo, Purchase or Activate. Apparently, it somehow got de-activated. I am able to launch all of the other parts of K8U, as well as all the other software on my PC, and use them with no problem. So I closed Kontakt and reinstalled the assign drivers. I was able to launch Kontakt without the activation prompt, but the Libraries, which have not been moved, did not load by default as they should. And nothing that I did, per the manual, would get them to load. Then I noticed that Kontakt was not reading the cpu usage. So then I closed Kontakt and uninstalled from Add/Remove Programs. Then I reinstalled the drivers in the "sub installers" folder...reinstalled the assign drivers...and launched Kontakt. It is just like before, no libraries load automatically or manually and no cpu reading. I am stumped as to what could cause Kontakt to totally stop working when all of the other K8U components work just fine. The only thing that is different now is that I deleted the big 298 GB dmg. But all of the other files are exactly where they were when I initially extracted them; I even looked in the folders to verify.
Any suggestions/feedback?
Is there a way to bulk load libraries into an empty Kontakt 5?
PS: I was able to bulk load all libraries into database using Options/Database/Add/Update. And I can access them from the database tab. However, they are not under the library tab. So, I guess the real question is: Is there a way to bulk load libraries to the Library tab?
