Alain De Botton's: The Perfect Home - architecture documentary series

The Perfect Home is a television series of three 47 minute episodes commissioned for Channel 4 based on the book The Architecture of Happiness by the bestseller author Alain de Botton which first aired in 2006.

Whereas many architects are wary of openly discussing the word beauty, this series has at its centre the large and naïve question: ‘What is a beautiful building?’ It amounts to a tour through the philosophy and psychology of architecture, which aims to change the way we think about our homes, streets and ourselves.
