In World War II Casablanca, Rick Blaine, exiled American and former freedom fighter, runs the most popular nightspot in town. The cynical lone wolf Blaine comes into the possession of two valuable letters of transit. When Nazi Major Strasser arrives in Casablanca, the sycophantic police Captain Renault does what he can to please him, including detaining Czech underground leader Victor Laszlo. Much to Rick's surprise, Lazslo arrives with Ilsa, Rick's one time love. Rick is very bitter towards Ilsa, who ran out on him in Paris, but when he learns she had good reason to, they plan to run off together again using the letters of transit. Well, that was their original plan....

An IMDb Review: I should never have switched from scotch to martinis.:
The Petrified Forest convinced the world Bogart was a bad guy. And for years he shocked and awed the audience with roles fitting that image. The Maltese Falcon showed a new kind hero, one with an edge. Bogart, with all the right things to say and seemingly never losing his cool. Then came Casablanca and the ages. The man's – man comes with a heart. Arguably, three of his best pictures. All showing a change in a man's character and the depths of what acting is supposed to be. Maybe it was Warner Bros all along. Maybe Bogart was simply Bogart.

What can I say about this film that hasn't been said in over 60 years since its release. Is it a great film? Yes. Is it a showcase for Bogart? If not, than what else. Was Bogart the coolest guy to ever live? Absolutely. Casablanca is a different kind of love story, more likely to infect rather than effect.

She almost makes me believe it every time. When she says, "You're very kind." Bergman was more than just beautiful. And with Paul Henreid, Claude Rains, Conrad Veidt and Peter Lorre, cinema magic was created. But to me, Bogart was the greatest actor of all time. It's hard for me to believe he died almost 50 years ago. Every time I watch his films, it's like they were made yesterday. And that's why he is timeless. I'm still trying to figure him out.

"I should never have switched from scotch to martinis." Is said to be Bogart's last words. A legend, indeed.

God these filesharing sites have become unbearable. With Uploaded giving me the "Not Available", Letitbit giving me the "File not Found", Netload giving me 12KB/s, and Filepost giving me 38KB/s, I've stopped looking forward to your uploads. But I guess that's the way it's gotta be with so many filesharing sites going down :( Oh well.
Thanks for all your previous ups! I've enjoyed them immensely :D

Thanks a lot, my sister will be happy indeed...

Not sure about the previous comment, I had no problem downloading from uploaded... premium, it has to be said, it's nearly impossible to download anything these days as a free user but for Rapidshare, i've pretty much given up on any free downloads not from the them or Mediafire.

Well, just wait; uploaded.to were fine with me 'till today and now? Nothing, nada, can't download
anything else unless I Pay MORE! This after already paying for premium. Some wise soul 'round these
parts told me it's because one can only d'load 10GB a day, at a tie etc etc ...
Funny that, seeing as though when I payed they spouted the unlimited, unrestricted downloads bull-
shit. Well. more fool them, and fuck 'em, as I've cancelled so they'll go the way of Hotfile, and many,
many others - who shafted their paying customers and ultimately paid the price: going out of business.
Bastards.

The 10GB limit is in their terms & conditions, it's the first thing I checked. I pay my Membership monthly, when they don't have the stuff I want, I simply cancel and that's it, if some people are still falling for the trap of long premium contracts, they are fools, I never did. At the end of the day, how much stuff can you get legally from itunes or Amazon? Chill up, people, it's not an ideal situation but I see way too much complaining. It's still better than been able to afford just a cd a month or so. These new filehosts are certainly not working as good as the old ones, but I rather have that than nothing at all. Just be more selective.

Guys......... Come On !!!!

One in or other way still you r getting his ups...... thats should be appreciable......

Yes i too agree, the alternate sites are very less speed, but i think it is very little funded to make its server bigger.... even the premium account too not to the expectation...

but still... we get one or two of his films a day rather than 10-15 per day which we go on previous days....

Hope good for future....

well, as a fan of TinyBear and all his ups, I will weigh in. Unfortunately, it is pretty tough with these particular hosts. To U.S. ip's these hosts are so slow that it just isn't worth trying to download, though I would have liked to have grabbed this one. I have seen that Rapidshare is still giving very good speeds on free accounts, so is mediafire. I saw one yesterday on another site, "jumbofiles", that I was unfamiliar with. Like Rapidshare, also very quick and no wait between files even for free accounts. So there are still some out there, I guess it just depends on which host is giving what deals to the uploaders. We hopefully need to find some hosts that strike a decent balance between download speeds, while making it worthwhile for the uploaders. Hopefully that will come about. I hate when I have to decide what to download based on what hosts are or aren't available.

Agreed, downloading as a free user from filehosting sites is ass except for Rapidshare. I don't mind the wait between files if at least I get at least 150k for download speeds. I would get a premium account if there weren't so many filehosters. Why should I get a premium Filepost and Uploaded account when people upload to Extabit or Netload?

This is where usenet is still king. I have Giganews, you have Astraweb but we can still download the same content at 25Mps or higher.

Now I will try dealing with these 4 filehosters only. I hope they will upgrade their servers so free downloading will be easier. I don't like FilePost either, if AvaxHome drop the FilePost-links-required rule, I will change to another one that US guys can download easier (plus making sure that it won't delete my account). I don't say No to RS, but not now, there's somethings I have to concern about if dealing with it.

About Uploaded, Letitbit, NetLoad, I understand your hardness when download free from those one (slow, download quota,...). But they won't be the temporarily ones, so if you like my posts and be sure that you can download faster with Premium account, buy it. Besides, I've heard about Zevera.com, a service that you just have to own 1 premium account for download from many filehosters, and they have download capability from Uploaded.to for US users. Never use it, but I think it's a good idea, worth to check:D

thanks for your response TinyBear. I will resume downloading your posts when you find something more workable for US. Until then, I can't get through it, but I will check back now and then to see if you've come up with something better.

Okay, some very simple things here:
1. Juandocomando, I don't give a fuck about terms and fuckin' conditions. I care about what some
bastard company tells you on their header-page to try to justify one paying for premium. Okay?
They STILL say it there: Unlimited downloads AND No restrictions. Isn't that pretty fucking simple?
Well, no it ain't 'cause I payed for premium and now they stop me downloading every day and tell
me if I want more then I have to pay more. And what humongous amount do I have to exceed in order
to have my UNLIMITED, NO RESTRICTIONS access stopped? 10GB!
2. They ignore submitted tickets to support etc etc

So they fucking lie, okay?
So I cancel and I will never renew and I was wise enough to only sign up for a month.
Please, hosters, do not use these companies. Filehost didn't lie - they just gave me a download
speed of 25-30KB/sec!!
So, for now, for me, Netload, Rapidshare and Mediafire do not fuck me about, but I will only pay
for a moths access at any given time ....

And on we go ....

@Rorque: You're right, in this time, if buying premium account, just should buy 1 month. No one knows what will happen next. FileSonic, FileServe, after the incident, they change without caring about many people. No one buy premium account for just... downloading their own files. They deleted my accounts.

Download free from NetLoad/FilePost is painful to me, about 45KB/s (!!), fortunately I just have to download some small subtitle files for weekly Big Bang Theory show from NL. But as I see, many people in Europe download fast from there. And the main reason I choose it is it do not delete my files fastly like the others.

Can't help about downloading speed & premium account terms. But I promise you that I will support in case the links die, and we go on together...:)
