Friday Foster, an ex-model magazine photographer, goes to Los Angeles International airport to photograph the arrival of Blake Tarr, the richest black man in America. Three men attempt to assassinate Tarr. Unexpectedly, Friday finds herself in the middle of a shootout, and she photographs of one of the gunmen. Covering a fashion show the next day, her model friend is murdered - but what's the connection?

Pam Grier plays fashion photographer, Friday Foster. The plot centres around a conspiracy to assassinate black leaders, which Friday Foster gets caught-up in. In this film, Pam uses her camera, fleet feet, and sharp wits to foil the bad guys. She's not a pistol-packin' mama here, like she was in her other films.
Sure, Friday Foster isn't as hard-boiled as Pam's other Blaxploitation films. But it has more humour, and finesse than her other movies. Friday Foster was a role, where Pam revealed a surprising dexterity, as an actress. She was also allowed to be more glamorous as Friday Foster, than she ever was in either Coffy, or Foxy Brown.

"Friday Foster" was based on a newspaper comic strip that debuted January 18, 1970 by writer Jim Lawrence and artist Jorje Longeron. It was the first mainstream comic strip with a black lead character. The movie gives a "thank you" credit to Chicago Tribune Syndication which licensed the comic strip to newspapers. Ironically, by the time the movie was released in 1975, the comic strip was no more, having ended the previous year.

Hey, thanx for sharing!!!!
There's definitely some kind of problem with the links. When I try to get part 2, it gives me the: "File not found" error, even when it is supposed to be there. I don't know about the other links, but maybe part 9 is missing too, since popopopop complained about it.
Would you mind to check it, please, everwood?

From time to time, the files won't work manually, 'cause wupload went downhill during the last weeks. But they always work with jdownloader. Get jdownloader, rightclick the file in the folder and choose "copy link adress", works 100%. Or you'll wait a few days, i have all my files uploaded to filesonic as well and will post the links soon.

Thanx!!!!!!!! I will inform you if I succeed. I think the downhill situation is the right guess, cause I tried first with jdownloader before trying manually, same result. But you're right, it happens that links go up and down from servers when the waters are troubled, I know. I'll check it again from time to time this week. Thanx again for your time (and for sharing).
