Screen adaptation of the story by Thomas de Quincey (author of the famous "Confessions of an Englishman, used by opium").
This film - not so much a narrative about the "last days" of the German philosopher, as collection of curious facts, legends and fables about Kant. Here and the famous walk of Kant, which synchronize watches residents of Königsberg, and worn floorboards, where there was a servant of the philosopher, Kant, and pedantry in trifles. At the same time shows other Kant: cantankerous, sometimes cruel and arrogant.
