The Forbidden Legend : Sex & Chopsticks (2008)

Based on the classic Chinese novel "Jin Ping Mei," written during the Ming Dynasty, “The Forbidden Legend: Sex & Chopsticks” takes place during 1111-1127 and centers around Ximen Quing, a corrupt social climber and lustful merchant who is wealthy enough to marry a consort of wives and concubines. Once a staple of Hong Kong Cinema, the Category III sexploitation film makes a return with The Forbidden Legend: Sex & Chopsticks, directed by genre veteran Chin Man Kei (Sex and Zen 2). The first of two films adapting the classic Chinese novel Jin Ping Mei, a.k.a. The Plum in the Golden Vase, Sex & Chopsticks brings with it the ornate costumes, elaborate settings and softcore silliness that the genre is known for. Lam Wai Kin (My Horny Girlfriend) stars as legendary lothario Ximen Quing, a well-off scholar who ignores morality to conquer a number of comely women. As his conquests, the filmmakers cast Japanese AV actresses Wakana Hikaru, Hayakawa Serina, and Uehara Kaera, who have no problems disrobing for the film's copious nude scenes. Also featuring an appearance from old-school martial arts actor Norman Tsui Siu Keung and a cameo from Hong Kong starlet Winnie Leung, foreshadowing her pivotal role in the film's sequel.
Rich scholar Ximen Quing (Lam Wai Kin) has yet to lose his virginity despite being schooled in the art of love by his virile father (Norman Tsui Siu Keung). All that changes when he meets first love Violetta (Uehara Kaera), who introduces Simon to manhood through many encounters and even more positions. However, their multiple trysts fail to create a lasting love. Heartbroken, Simon takes to the road, where he meets a new woman, inexperienced nun Moon (Wakana Hikaru), who abandons her chaste ways to learn all about carnal pleasure from Simon. But even after marrying Moon, Simon is not satisfied, and his morality slowly erodes in favor of his boundless lust. He soon falls for Golden Lotus (Hayakawa Serina), who charms him with her natural beauty and small bound feet. Golden Lotus is married to ugly merchant Wu Da Lang (Ng Chi Hung), but even the covenant of marriage is no obstacle to Simon. Together, he and Golden Lotus plot Da Lang's murder, so that she can join Simon's growing harem of wives.

Tips to watch subtitle .SUB and .IDX format :
VLC Media Player:
1. Keep all the files (.avi, .sub & .idx) in the same folder
2. Play normally with VLC media player , go to VIDEO on top of VLC and choose SUBTITLE TRACK at the dropdown menu and select the appropriate subtitle .

ConverXtoDVD:
1. “Add” the .AVI file from the movie folder into the ConvertXtoDVD (the .IDX and .SUB file extensions should follow automatically providing all of them have the same exact file name). For non techie : FILE-NAME.FILE-EXTENSION
2. “Convert” and “Burn” normally
3. Use the button on your DVD or the remote control to select the appropriate subtitle for your viewing.
