Thanks ghost19 for the post.
wonder why 0-96 kmph quoted and not 0-100 ??? very odd.
Hardly a superbike! in 1972 I had a kawasaki 500 cc that did
0-100 in 3.2 seconds i'm sure yamaha r1 ( and many other ) would cream this bike.
cheers
The reasoning behind the 0-96kmph and not 0-100 kmph is because its the 0-60 Miles per hour, converted becomes 0-96 kpmh
and you are absolutely right about the other bikes creaming it lol, its a Harely, not the lightest or fastest but definitely an icon to aim for.
When they decided on V-Rod, it was to fight their down the hill progress, their funeral and they did it the hard way, over budget, and way overdue but for a reason or another they managed to survive and save the family ;)
So, hats off to their determination ;) and thanks for a great share!
