Thanks ghost19 for the post.

wonder why 0-96 kmph quoted and not 0-100 ??? very odd.

Hardly a superbike! in 1972 I had a kawasaki 500 cc that did

0-100 in 3.2 seconds i'm sure yamaha r1 ( and many other ) would cream this bike.

cheers

Thanks for the post.

The reasoning behind the 0-96kmph and not 0-100 kmph is because its the 0-60 Miles per hour, converted becomes 0-96 kpmh
and you are absolutely right about the other bikes creaming it lol, its a Harely, not the lightest or fastest but definitely an icon to aim for.

V-Rod was a rebel. Everyone knew that Harley was not for the speed that was called Harley. Imagine the sOuNd, the arrogant figure, the fAmIlY. That you do not find anywhere else, Honda, Yamaha, or anything else.

When they decided on V-Rod, it was to fight their down the hill progress, their funeral and they did it the hard way, over budget, and way overdue but for a reason or another they managed to survive and save the family ;)

So, hats off to their determination ;) and thanks for a great share!
