The MoC transfer is noticeably better in every single aspect than the Criterion one. Check DVDBeaver, they have a comparison between both. What i might do is add the Criterion Booklet, but the MoC one is also better. And the MoC version is the full length one, including 20 more minutes than the Criterion one.

Link for those interested in the comparison. Have to say, that is a huge difference. Seems Criterion really dropped the ball with this one. Is this typical? That MoC prints are better than Criterion because I had heard that they use the same source so both dvd's end up looking the same but obviously I was wrong. Anyway, thank again.

It is not always like that, but usually, MoC standards are a bit higher than Criterion's. They do exchange transfers a lot as well and sometimes it is hard to decide which one is better:
