Created by Gene Roddenberry, the science fiction television series Star Trek (which eventually acquired the retronym Star Trek: The Original Series) starred William Shatner as Captain Kirk, Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock, DeForest Kelley as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, and crew aboard the fictional Federation starship Enterprise. The series originally aired from September 1966 through June 1969 on NBC.
Star Trek's pilot episode, "The Cage", was completed between November 1964 and January 1965, and starred Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Christopher Pike, Majel Barrett as Number One, and Leonard Nimoy as Spock. After being rejected by NBC as being "too cerebral" (among other complaints), Jeffrey Hunter chose to withdraw from the role of Pike when creator Gene Roddenberry was asked to produce a second pilot episode ("Where No Man Has Gone Before") which later aired in 1966.
After Roddenberry's second pilot episode, "Where No Man Has Gone Before", received a more favorable response from NBC, Star Trek finally aired its first episode - "The Man Trap" - at 7:30PM on September 8, 1966. "Where No Man...", which eventually aired as the series' third episode, only retained Spock as a character from "The Cage", but introduced William Shatner as Captain Kirk, James Doohan as chief engineer Scotty, and George Takei as physicist (later, helmsman) Sulu. DeForest Kelley and Nichelle Nichols joined the cast as ship's surgeon Dr. McCoy and communications officer Uhura in "The Man Trap", the first aired episode of the series.
Although her character of Number One was not retained from "The Cage", Majel Barrett returned to the show as a new character, nurse Christine Chapel, and made her first of many recurring appearances in "The Naked Time". Grace Lee Whitney appeared in seven episodes as yeoman Janice Rand, beginning with "The Man Trap". Whitney left the series after "The Conscience of the King", but would later make minor appearances in the first, third, fourth, and sixth Trek films, as well as one episode of the sequel series Star Trek: Voyager.
Star Trek's first season is comprised of 29 episodes, including the two-part episode "The Menagerie", which includes much of its footage from the original pilot, "The Cage". Other notable episodes include "Balance of Terror", which introduces the Romulans; "Space Seed", which introduces Khan Noonien Singh and serves as the basis for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan; "Errand of Mercy", in which the Klingons make their first appearance; and the critically acclaimed, Hugo-Award-winning episode "The City on the Edge of Forever" which features Kirk, Spock, and McCoy traveling into the past through the Guardian of Forever.
The episodes are listed in chronological aair date with their original production number next to them. You can either watch them straight thru or you can watch them by production number. There is no production number 1, as the original pilot episode, "The Cage", was not released until the season three DVD set.

The other two seasons will be uploaded but it will take a while. It took me about three weeks to upload this season - my upload speed is very slow.
Enjoy :)
It was ripped from a 5.1 DVD - it sounds fine when I listen to it on my TV set up but on the computer, when I listen in stereo, I also thought that something was wrong, however after listening to them all it seems that it is the same on all the episodes.
It could be that the ripper I use can't pull the intro properly though.
I also noticed the sound problem in Kirk's voice over. Not a big problem, but would be nice if fixed if you do the other series.
And a few of the titles (in the filenames) were wrong:
Episode 11 "The Menagarie Part 01" should be "The Menagerie Part 1"
Episode 12 "The Menagarie Part 02" should be "The Menagerie Part 2"
Episode 20 "Court Marshall" should be "Court Martial"
and a couple just missing punctution:
Episode 06 "Mudds Women" should be "Mudd's Women"
Episode 29 "Operation Annihilate" should be "Operation: Annihilate!"
And something odd: most have absolutely perfect images.
But "Menagerie Part 1" had quite a lot of blotches, usually just one frame each. Looks like made from a dirty film. This isn't an encoding error, must be in the source.
All this just FYI in case you ever re-upload or redo these.
Did you abandon the plan to upload other seasons?
I have not abandoned my plans to rip the other seasons. This is from a Blu Ray set and so far only season 1 is out. I do see that season 2 is coming out very soon and I will certainly get it posted here ASAP.
So, any chance you'd give season 2 a go on another server? I'm guessing you got screwed by RapidShare when it did some major spring cleaning a while back and season one disappeared into the ether.
