Zemlja istine,ljubavi i slobode (Land of truth,love & freedom) is one of the finest movies from Serbia in years. It was made with small budget, and it strikes me how good it is. It is very smart movie, good mixture of different filming techniques and materials, with lot of quotes for movie lovers. When you're watching it you can see that it is made by the group of good friends (many of them acting in this are directors, producers etc. appearing as actors for the first time).Director Petrovic (who is also editor,co-writer,composer and co-star) has very modern approach (a story within a story etc., collage techique) to it, and he has made a very surprising movie. Whores and killers, doctors and lunatics, NATO bombardment and the ancient Serbia all in one. Must see movie of the year!
